Sharon Osbourne Recovering From Colon Cancer Surgery
Doctors expect her to make full recovery.

Following a successful surgical procedure to treat an operable form of cancer, Sharon Osbourne is recovering and the Ozzfest tour will go on as expected.
Osbourne, 50, underwent surgery for colon cancer last week in an undisclosed hospital
near Los Angeles, according to the Osbournes' spokesperson (see "Sharon Osbourne To Undergo Cancer Surgery, Two Ozzfest Shows Postponed"). Her doctors expect her to make a full recovery.
Due to the hospitalization, the first pair of Ozzfest shows — July 6 in Bristow, Virginia, and July 7 in Pittsburgh — was postponed. Ozzfest 2002 will now kick off Wednesday (July 10) in Scranton, Pennsylvania.
No word yet on when the postponed dates will be rescheduled.
