Vanessa Carlton Embarking On First Headlining Tour
Singer kicks off trek October 20 in Boston.

While most people her age are sweating what they're going to do when they
finish college, 22-year-old Vanessa Carlton knows exactly what the future
holds: her first headlining tour.
The next two months will be anything but ordinary for
the piano-loving singer
as she takes center stage on a North American tour that kicks off on October
20 at the Paradise Rock Club in Boston. The trek is slated to wrap
on December 14 with a show at the Water Street Music Hall in Rochester, New
York.
In between, Carlton will travel from coast-to-coast, with a two-day stint as
the only female (and youngest) artist on the bill for this year's Bridge
School Benefit concerts (October 26-27), organized by Neil Young (see "Foos, Thom Yorke, Vanessa Carlton To Play Bridge School").
Carlton is in the midst of filming the video for "Pretty Baby," the third
single from her platinum-selling debut, Be Not Nobody.
