Star-Packed DVD To Honor Late Drowning Pool Singer
P.O.D.'s Sonny Sandoval, Disturbed's David Draiman, Rob Zombie, Zakk Wylde remember Dave Williams.

Drowning Pool's Dave Williams will be remembered with "Sinema," a DVD that combines a history of the band with personal accounts of the much-loved singer.
Due November 19, "Sinema" features uncensored, behind-the-scenes footage of the
bandmembers on tour and whooping it up in their hometown of Dallas, according to a Wind-Up Records spokesperson. Pantera's Dimebag Darrell, one of Williams' closest friends, contributed a 15-minute pastiche culled from home videos that he edited himself. Rare performance footage, including a cover of Mötley Crüe's "Shout at the Devil," is also among the DVD's offerings.
Williams, who died August 14 from heart disease (see "Drowning Pool's Dave Williams Died From Heart Disease, Coroner Says"), is remembered through the testimony of P.O.D.'s Sonny Sandoval, Disturbed's David Draiman, Rob Zombie, Zakk Wylde, and members of Ill Niño, Adema, Seether and Finger Eleven. Others who appear in the home video include Sammy Hagar, Slayer's Kerry King, Mötley Crüe's Vince Neil, Ozzy Osbourne, Sevendust and MTV News' Iann Robinson.
All three of the band's videos, "Bodies," "Sinner" and "Tear Away," and scenes from the production of each, are also contained, as is an option to hear the band's audio commentary.
Plans for the DVD arose at a public memorial for Williams held a week after his death (see "Drowning Pool Fans Asked To Contribute To Memorial DVD"). Wind-Up Records will use $250,000 from the sale of the video to buy a house for Williams' parents, realizing one of his lifelong dreams.
