ALIEN VS. PREDATOR Predator and Alien are two of the most frightening movie creatures of all time. Even Gover-nator Arnold Schwarzenegger had a tough time with the Predator in the 1987 film. So what happens when the two villains hit See Photos From The Movie "No matter how long I was on the set, I never got used to seeing either of [the creatures]," she says. "When the Predator would walk around the corner, even on like the last day of shooting, you're just like, 'Ew!' Then the Alien is just gross. There's something in a human being that looks at an Alien and it's like a cockroach, y'know? You can never feel nurturing towards a cockroach." Alien Vs. Predator opens in theaters today. DANNY DECKCHAIR The comedy Danny Deckchair stars Rhys Ifans, best remembered as Hugh Grant's over-the-top roommate in Notting Hill. In this romantic comedy he plays Danny, an Australian concrete worker who's getting ready for a vacation with his girlfriend. When work commitments force her to cancel the trip, Danny decides to tie a bunch of helium balloons to a folding chair - and finds himself floating away into a new life. "It's all very dangerous, cause you can't steer a deck chair," Ifans tells VH1 about his scenes aloft. "So most of it was done on cranes and stuff, but it was still quite hairy. I was sort of hanging 150 feet above the ground in a deck chair. Quite nice though. You get left alone up there, and it's very quiet, you know? They can't do your makeup or fiddle with your clothes when you're hanging around up there. So it was nice." Danny Deckchairopens today in New York and Los Angeles. THE PRINCESS DIARIES 2: ROYAL ENGAGEMENT The Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement stars Anne Hathaway, who reprises her role from the 2001 hit film that raked in more than $108 million. Hathaway tell VH1 what people can expect from the princess this time around. "She finds out that she has to compromise herself in order to become a queen," says Hathaway. "At first she thinks that she is okay with it, but then she has to come to terms with what that means. She has to find out how far she's willing to bend before she can't look at herself in the mirror anymore. In that struggle and self reflection, she gains tremendous amounts of self-esteem and confidence." The Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement also marks the return of Julie Andrews, Hector Elizondo and Heather Matarazzo, and was once again directed by Garry Marshall. It's in theaters everywhere now. HOLLY HUNTER PLAYS THE HERO Movies with superheroes and animation are tearing up the box office these days. So, when are the studios going to combine the two? Well, you won't have to wait too long because The Incredibles are on the way. Holly Hunter provides one of the voices in the animated film and she told us all about it. "I play a retired superhero, living with a superhero I fell in love with," says Hunter. "Craig T. Nelson is in that role. We're raising a family of little superheroes who don't know [about their powers] because we're not allowed to use our powers. Suddenly, emergency type situations arise and we all have to become superheroes again." The Incredibles won't hit theaters until November 5th, but you can see Holly Hunter now in the Brittany Murphy comedy Little Black Book, in theaters now. ROB SCHNEIDER REVIVES DEUCE BIGALOW Rob Schneider is reviving his character from the 1999 film Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo for a new comedy tentatively titled Deuce Bigalow: European Gigolo. Schneider explains the film's premise to VH1. "Deuce Bigalow has to go back into the gigolo [trade] - or as I like to call it, the man whoring business - because someone is killing the great gigolos of the world in Amsterdam. Of course, Amsterdam would be where the society of the royal order of European man-whores is based. Anyway, someone is killing these guys and Deuce has to basically find out who." Deuce Bigalow: European Gigolo is currently being shot in Amsterdam and it also marks the return of Eddie Griffin, who played T.J. Hicks in the first film. Look for it in theaters on April 8th, 2005. FILM CLIPS: Matt Dillon has signed on for the upcoming film Herbie: Fully Loaded, opposite Lindsay Lohan and Michael Keaton. Herbie: Fully Loaded will set the mysteriously strong-willed Volkswagen Beetle, Herbie, in the world of NASCAR. Dillon takes the role of Trip, the bad boy of the racing circuit. ... Rachel Weisz will star in the sci-fi pic The Fountain alongside Hugh Jackman...Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson has signed on to star in Gridiron Gang. The project is based on a true story about a group of teenagers at a juvenile detention center who gain confidence and self-respect when their counselor puts them on a football team. ... Singer Shelby Lynne is the latest singer to join the cast of Walk the Line, the Johnny Cash biopic starring Joaquin Phoenix as the Man in Black and Reese Witherspoon as his wife, June Carter Cash. Lynne will play Cash's mother in the movie, which is due in theaters next spring. ... Master of horror Wes Craven is set to direct the thriller Red Eye. The film centers on a woman held captive by a stranger on an airliner who threatens to kill her father unless she helps him arrange the assassination of a wealthy businessman. Craven is the man behind the Scream and Nightmare On Elm Street films.
