latest MySpace blog post, he's definitely improving.

In the post, Barker — who has been in a Los Angeles burn center for nearly three weeks — writes "I think I'm getting out of the hospital soon. I can't wait to get out of here and be home with the babes. The doctors say I'm healing up quickly and I'm gonna be out of here b4 you know it."

Barker didn't elaborate on just what kind of treatment he's been undergoing, though in a recent interview with Us Weekly, his ex-wife, Shanna Moakler, said Barker has received several skin grafts and gone through multiple surgeries. (Although Barker seemed to be attempting to distance himself from Moakler in a previous post.)

"He just had his seventh surgery where they checked on his grafts," she told the magazine. "That's when they shave the skin off and then staple cadaver and pig skin right on so the skin underneath can heal to see if they had to graft more, but they don't. He might be out in the next two weeks. The doctors foresee a full recovery."

Barker's blog post also includes shots of friends and family by his bedside, including the Game and his former Transplants bandmate "Skinhead" Rob Alston. Also included in the post are photos of Barker getting a sushi delivery from his "favorite restaurant," Matsuhisa.

He closes the post by writing that "the staff here is the BEST, but this is what I have to say about hospital life," and signs off with a photo of his still-burned right hand, middle finger proudly — and prominently — extended.
