you guys about the piece, and for once, it wasn't all overwhelmingly negative or written in ALL CAPS.

Actually, a lot of it was pretty great. Seems you guys care a whole lot about the Summer Jam Sweepstakes, perhaps even more than I do. You guys picked songs both obvious (Britney Spears' "Radar." A lot.) and, uh, not-so-obvious (something from Mandy Moore?!?). And some of you got really mad that I made fun of Wiccans too. Regardless, I got so many great suggestions that I decided to highlight some of them below. These are your picks for the Summer Jam of 2009.

"Drake's got this in the bag. ... If not, [then] the Black Eyed Peas, but not with 'Boom Boom Pow.' That's old. 'I Gotta Feelin' ' might be the new song. ... It debuts at #2 on Billboard's Hot 100 tomorrow." - MTV.com user DCJ321

"I think Mariah's new track is HOT, but I think 'Birthday Sex' is a strong contender for best Summer Jam, even though the video makes the song sucky. And 'LoveGame' by [Lady] Gaga is pretty hot!" - BreakTrancer

" 'Radar' is gonna kick asses this summer. Sick beat, catchy chorus, [it's] Britney all in one. 'Radar' rocks" - Juan1302

"OMG, y'all crazy. Mariah-freakin'-Carey is gonna rule the summer. This song is so freakin' hot. I'm obsessed with it already. I've listened to it 120 times on my iPod already." - Blake McGuire

"I would like these singles to be surprise summer hits: Mandy Moore's 'I Could Break Your Heart Any Day of the Week,' Brooke Hogan and Colby O'Donis' 'Hey Yo!,' David Guetta feat. Kelly Rowland 'When Love Takes Over,' Amerie's 'Why R U,' Jesse McCartney feat. T-Pain 'Body Language,' LeToya's 'She Ain't Got ... ' " - Coolinout1

"Drake 'Best I Ever Had' is my favorite Summer Jam of '09. It's gonna be the best summer song since Lil Wayne's 'A Milli.' " - Justin Burnell

Any surefire Summer Jams we haven't mentioned yet? Feel free to sound off in the comments below.
