death in June, La Toya is in talks with ABC and is thinking about joining the show.

Sources tell Us Weekly that La Toya has been approached by producers to join the cast, which in the past has included celebrities like Billy Ray Cyrus, Steve-O and Lil' Kim. "[La Toya is] in serious discussions to join the show," a source told the Web site, adding that La Toya has gotten a firm offer from the show.

If she agrees, she would be one of the contestants on the ninth season of the popular dance competition. "She's a big fan of the show," her rep told Us. "And being from a musical family, it would be a good fit."

La Toya made headlines earlier this summer when she gave a paid interview to the U.K.'s Daily Mail, claiming Michael was murdered. "I believe Michael was murdered, I felt that from the start," the Mail quoted La Toya as saying in the interview. "Not just one person was involved; rather it was a conspiracy of people."

She added that at the time of Michael's death, she thought "he was surrounded by a bad circle. Michael was a very meek, quiet, loving person. People took advantage of that. People fought to be close to him, people who weren't always on his side."
