VH1 SAVE THE MUSIC OFFERS ITEMS FOR BIDS AT eBAY, IN PARTNERSHIP WITH NAMM-International Music Products Association TO BENEFIT THE VH1 SAVE THE MUSIC FOUNDATION Starting Tuesday, January 14th, VH1 STM and NAMM are teaming up to auction off some of the hottest new items in the music instrument world! Available will be items debuting at this year's NAMM show in California, including items from Zildjian, Drum Workshop, Fender, G. Leblanc, Gibson, Korg, Latin Percussion, Pearl, Martin, Selmer and more! Also up for auction will be memorabilia from such artists as the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Elton John, Alanis Morrissette, Ozzy Osbourne and more! VH1 MUSIC STUDIO/ CABLE IN THE CLASSROOM PROGRAMMING As a network member of the Cable in the Classroom initiative, VH1 airs commercial free educational programming for use in the music and cross-curricular classroom each month. By taping the program, teachers can keep the shows and use them at the point and time that most appropriately fits into their curriculum. Programs can be taped on VH1, on the first Tuesday of every month at 4:00 am EST/ 3:00 am CST. Educators should set their VCRs for taping late Monday night.
