On Thursday June 7th, STAR 98.7 donated $50,000 to the VH1 Save The Music Foundation to restore the music program at Valley Alternative Magnet School in Van Nuys, CA. STAR 98.7 raised the funds from proceeds of the sale of their 10th annual Star Lounge CD, a compilation CD of live performances from their world famous Star Lounge Guitar Center Studio. The donation is part of VH1 Save The Music Foundationís efforts to restore 4 million dollars worth of instrumental music programs nationwide throughout this year. In addition to the dedication ceremony, the assembly included a live acoustic performance by STAR 98.7 artists,
