VH1 Save The Music Foundation Celebrates First Decade Of Success With 10th Anniversary Gala Presented By LG
WHAT:		Since 1997, the VH1 Save The Music Foundation has successfully restored and sustained instrumental music programs in 1,500 public schools in over 100 cities around the country. To date, The Foundation has provided $35 million in new musical instruments, affecting the lives of more than 1 million students. As part of their 10th anniversary celebration, the VH1 Save The Music Foundation will be holding its first ever Gala celebration to recognize those that have been instrumental in saving the music.
WHO:		Hosted by Maria Menounos, the VH1 Save The Music Foundation 10th Anniversary Gala Presented By LG will honor former President Bill Clinton, Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton, Mariah Carey, John Sykes, and NAMM: The International Music Products Association. Headlining performers include: John Mayer, Jon Bon Jovi, and Roger Waters who will all perform with a 60-piece student orchestra comprised of VH1 Save The Music Foundation students from across the country. Conan O'Brien will humor guests with an opening speech and Project Runway's Tim Gunn will be on hand to emcee a live auction, which will feature one-of-a-kind items and experiences from VH1 Save The Music partners.
