MARTIN + OSA BRINGS GoodMusic™ to MALL OF AMERICA

March 10, 2007 - Martin + Osa is proud to announce that Minneapolis based band, Terramara, will be performing at the Mall of America store on Saturday, March 17 at 2 PM and 5 PM as part of the GoodMusic™ Live Performance Series.  Martin + Osa is located on level two near Bloomingdale’s.

Nominated for Best Pop Artist in 2006 by the Minnesota Music Awards, Terramara is the brainchild of singer/songwriter Rob Mearny, who formed the band in 1998.  The group has released two CDs, a self-titled first album in 2000, and Four Blocks to Hennepin in 2005. Critics and fans alike have uniformly compared them to Steely Dan, and often to such rock giants as Sting, XTC and Joe Jackson.

Martin + Osa has pledged 10% of sales to benefit the VH1 Save The Music Foundation during this GoodMusic™ event.  In 2007, VH1 Save The Music will celebrate its 10th year of restoring instrumental music programs in U.S. Public schools with the following impressive stats:  $35 million worth of new musical instruments donated to 1,500 public schools in more than 80 cities around the country, impacting the lives of over 1 million public school students.

The VH1 Save The Music Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to restoring instrumental music education programs in America’s public schools, and raising awareness about the importance of music as a part of each child’s complete education.

In addition to live performances, every season, Martin + Osa works with music industry insiders to curate the M+O GoodMusic™ list, an eclectic mix of new music and classics.  The GoodMusic™ list is featured on its website (martinandosa.com/goodmusic), and is now available for download on iTunes.
