VH1 Music Studio

VH1 Music Studio The theme for this year’s VH1 Music Studio programming is “Influence and Innovation in Music.” The artists in the programs featured in the 2006-2007 VH1 Music Studio lineup span different genres and use their unique personal and musical experiences to create new and innovative forms of music. They come from a variety of different backgrounds, ranging from producers to songwriters to actors, and each brings a unique perspective and approach to their music. Whether it is showcased in their lyrics or the composition of their songs, by drawing on influences of their past, both musical and otherwise, these artists customize their sounds to create new and innovative styles that allows for music to remain a powerful and ever-changing influence in all our lives.

Bon Jovi Unplugged on VH1

This episode of VH1 Music Studio will showcase the revival of the classic acoustic performance series "Unplugged." As legend has it, the first "Unplugged" was inspired by Jon Bon Jovi and Richie Sambora's acoustic performance at the 1989 MTV Video Music Awards. Bon Jovi, whose newest album "Lost Highway" released on June 19, 2007, will kick off the first of a new multi-genre incarnation of the Grammy Award-winning "Unplugged" series. Tune in to hear some of their hit new songs as well as some Bon Jovi classics.
