Executive Vice President, VH1 Original Programming and Production
Jeff Olde is currently Executive Vice President of Original Programming & Production at VH1, part of the MTV Networks division of Viacom, Inc. In his role, Olde oversees all current VH1 original programming and development for the East and West coasts, as well as music series development and celebrity talent development.
VH1 has scored its highest ratings ever due to many of the hit “Celebreality” shows under Olde’s watch including hit series such as “Flavor of Love,” “I Love New York,” “Rock of Love,” “Gotti’s Way,” “Scott Baio is 45 & Single,” “Scott Baio is 46 & Pregnant,” “Celebrity Rehab With Dr. Drew,” “My Fair Brady,” “The Surreal Life,” “Strange Love,” “Charm School,” “What Perez Sez,” “Breaking Bonaduce,” and “Fame Games.” In his 5 years at the network, vh1 has enjoyed an unprecedented 23 quarters of consecutive growth and currently has exploded as a top 10 cable network with its three nights of original programming.
Previously Olde spent two years as executive creative consultant to Brian Graden, President of Entertainment for MTV Networks Music Group, helping to shape the VH1’s West Coast structure and programming slate.
Prior to joining VH1, Olde's TV production company, Olde/Gladstone Productions, managed a wide array of clients including MTV, VH1, Lifetime and Disney. Before that, Olde was the Creator and Executive Producer of MTV's "BIOrhythm" which received a Peabody Award.
Before becoming an independent producer in 1997, Olde served as Co-Executive Producer of "The Dating Game" for Columbia Tri-Star Television, a project that was born out of his work with the Foxlab development team.
A graduate of American University, Olde holds a Bachelor's Degree in International Relations. While in college, Olde served as a congressional intern on Capitol Hill to former Colorado Congresswoman Pat Schroeder.
Olde currently resides in the Los Angeles area.
