  1. Sky is the newest addition to Black Ink's colorful crew. The self-proclaimed "Queen of the Mixxxys," is the latest person to take on the role of receptionist. The position has been a revolving door of employees over the last few months, and Ceaser needs someone who can handle the day-to-day madness. Sky's aggressive and in-your-face style may be the missing piece needed to get the shop in check. Sky is not afraid to get loud and "put people on blast" when necessary, whether it be Ceaser, another employee, or even a customer. But with that attitude, comes a great sense of humor and big heart.

This Sugar Hill native has seen it all. She developed a "crazy temper" at a young age and was a rebellious teenager with several run-ins with the law. At the age of 19, she served 12 months in prison. Her time behind bars changed her view on life, and on herself.

These days, Sky is looking to build a better life for herself. A straight hustler that does not take any crap from anyone, Sky believes she is "a role model for young women in Harlem." After getting released, she became a certified beautician. This was the perfect choice, given that she has always been known in the streets for her makeup skills. Sky was working as a beauty advisor at a department store when approached by Black Ink, and she jumped at the chance to join up with the team. As an aspiring entrepreneur, Sky wants to line herself up with Ceaser and Black Ink to assemble a worldwide urban brand.

Black Ink is like a second home to Sky. She got her first tattoo at the age of 16, and currently has 16 pieces on her body, with no intention of stopping. Sky is a loyal client, and she is also known for getting "turnt up" with the male employees at the shop. She is not shy when it comes to dropping hints about who and what she wants, but this "female Teddy Rux," has slowed her roll because of her new boyfriend. Sky is dating a man she met in Atlanta, but who is currently incarcerated in New York (where he is originally from). She has been eagerly awaiting his release, and cannot wait to see where the relationship is headed once he gets out in a few weeks. Sky plans on being there at the prison when he gets released.

Sky is not only working on her romantic relationships, but she is also trying to mend her family ties. She recently reconnected with her mother, a former victim of the drug epidemic that ravaged New York in the 1980's. They have a close relationship now, speaking to each other everyday. They became even closer when Sky's mother revealed a huge secret - that the black man who raised Sky was not her biological father. Sky's real father is biracial and spent the last 20 years behind bars. While Sky could not believe the news, she felt like so many questions she had growing up were finally answered. Sky has since been in touch with her dad, and is looking to form a relationship with him.
