Wanna Audition For VH1's The Partridge Family?
Do you sing like and act like a Partridge? Are you a musical mom like Shirley? A teen idol in the making like Keith? America's sweetheart like Laurie, or a rambunctious schemer like Danny? If so, VH1 is looking for talented people who think they sing like, act like and resemble the original members of The Partridge Family.
The search for the cast of the new show will be aired as a seven-episode reality series, In Search of the Partridge Family. Open casting calls will be held in Orlando, New York, Minneapolis and Los Angeles beginning July 17.
Competitors may be asked to sing two classic '70s tunes and one Partridge Family hit, plus act out a short scene from the original sitcom. Information about approved songs and scenes appears below under AUDITION REQUIREMENTS AND INSTRUCTIONS.

AUDITION REQUIREMENTS AND INSTRUCTIONS
Choose the role that fits you best: Keith, Laurie, Shirley or Danny. Next:- 1. Download the application form here (you'll need Adobe Acrobat to view). Print it out and write in your info. YOU MUST BRING THIS COMPLETED FORM WITH YOU!
- 2. Be prepared to sing two '70s songs and one Partridge song from this list only.
- 3. Be in line at the venue ready to go for your audition at the specified time for your open call city. Be prepared to stay for most of the day!
- 4. If you are given a CALLBACK, you will be told before we dismiss you for the day. Your callback will be the very next day following the open call in your city, at the same venue. The time to report for your callback will also be told to you before we let you go.
- 5. For your callback, you will need to have prepared one of the two scenes provided for the Partridge Family role you are auditioning for. You must memorize the lines for your character. All scenes are available for download here (also in Adobe Acrobat format).
- 6. If you are selected as a finalist, you will be notified by August 6! Get ready to fly to Los Angeles to be on VH1's new television series!
MINORS MUST HAVE ONE PARENT OR GUARDIAN ACCOMPANY THEM TO THE AUDITION.
