Kari Ann Peniche arrives at the Pasadena Recovery Center to begin treatment, and it's not long before her demanding personality offends the other patients. In process group, Tom shares that he is homeless, news that shocks Heidi who once lived with him in a seven million dollar home. Dr. Drew takes the addicts to a very emotional Mothers Against Drunk Drivers (MADD) meeting, where they learn that their addictions can cost them and their loved ones much more than fame and fortune.
Dr. Drew becomes convinced that Tom's girlfriend Monroe endangers his ability to remain sober, and he convinces Tom to help get her into rehab, but when Dr. Drew and Tom meet with Monroe, things don't go as planned.
