Kari Ann returns to treatment, and at the final process group patients write emotional goodbye letters to their addictions and consider if they will continue on in sober living or not. At the graduation ceremony, Dr. Drew speaks to everyone and their loved ones to congratulate the patients for successfully completing treatment. They are released to the outside world - however, Dr. Drew sternly warns them that sobriety is easy in a confined environment such as the Pasadena Recovery Center, so they must remain strong and be in control out there in the real world.
