Get ready to go "ga-ga" because it's that time again - time to meet the next generation of the most fabulous Celebrity Kids. 2006 is here and we're going to introduce you to the newest sons and daughters of fame and fortune. And if you thought mommy and daddy lived well you won't believe the lives of their celebrity kids. Because when celebrity is in the genes, it takes more than toys and teddy bears to bring up these babies.
From their very first breath, celebrity kids simply have it made. Starting with the five-star delivery rooms they're being born in. Take new mom Julia Roberts. When it was time to have her twins Phinnaeus and Hazel, she chose a deluxe maternity suite at Hollywood's go-to hospital Cedar-Sinai. For $1700 a night she was offered salon service, a security staff, valets and a gourmet chef. But that's nothing compared to the money Britney Spears spent to make sure little Sean Preston's entrance into the world was a first-class, exclusive affair. Her hospital stay came with a $3,000 dollar a night birthing suite, a private chef, 7 adjoining accommodations for family members and not to mention background checks on all the nurses! The cost? A staggering $250,000.
And back at home, it's not enough to let celebrity kids play in the rec room- god no! Celebs are dishing out real grownup dollars for posh playhouses for their kids you won't believe. From the $8000 "Cotton Candy Manor" that Russell and Kimora Lee Simmons daughters Ming and Aoki play in to Heidi Klum and Seal's daughter Leni's $10,000 ginger bread cottage bed and play loft combination. Now that's how you play house!
But life as a celebrity child isn't all about playtime and pampers. Growing up in the spotlight means maintaining an A-list image just like mommy and daddy. And for celebrity kids in the '06, that means wearing the same designer labels and your big stylin' celebrity parent and even having your own stylist. Because, let's face it, when you're photographed 100 times a day at age 5, you need to look your best.
And no celeb kid has mastered VIP living quite like little Lourdes. Mommy Madonna has seen to it that her little girl has a personal stylist, weekly salon beauty treatments, and a full time bodyguard, not to mention access to her very own credit card. The limit: $10,000.
