Details
2002 might just have been too big a year to fit in one show, but on Wednesday, Dec. 4, VH1 and a host of stars managed to squeeze 12 months of music, movies and madness into one bulging package of wild entertainment.

Hosts Drea De Matteo and Michael Imperioli, of the HBO series "The Sopranos," corralled the A-list names on hand to distribute awards like "Can’t Get You Out of My Head," "Do I Look Fat in This Fight" and "Been Caught Scene Stealin." Winners included Ice Cube, Vanessa Carlton, Lucy Liu, Norah Jones, and The Osbournes.

The musical highlight was a tribute to Run-D.M.C. and their late DJ Jam Master Jay. With Kid Rock as musical director, rap legends Chuck D and Grand Master Flash bowed down to the kings of rock. Run-D.M.C.’s Reverend Run and D.M.C. were on hand to receive a Lifetime Achievement Award.

The crowd also delighted to a rocking performance from Bon Jovi and a demonstration of diva-tude from Christina Aguilera,. as well as show-stopping turns from newcomers Norah Jones and John Mayer.
