Some movies are so histrionically awful, so thoroughly beyond the pale, that they earn their place in the pantheon of cult cinema. Those are the good ones. Others are just plain terrible. The Broadcast Film Critics Association gives their least favorite movie of the month their honorary "Plan 9 Award," referring to Ed Wood's immortal schlock masterpiece, Plan 9 From Outer Space. None of them have cult potential (unless that cult has particularly poor taste). They run the gamut from remakes to road movies, and all of them should be avoided -- at all costs.
