  1. One of America's most successful professional matchmakers and relationship experts, Steven Ward is the star of "VH1 Tough Love," a series that reveals a rare, inside look into the male perspective on dating and relationships. Steven, with help along the way from his mom and business partner JoAnn Ward, attempt to reshape a group of women's "destructive" dating habits and help them find Mr. Right in his tough love boot camp.

Since his early years, Steven Ward has been immersed in his mother's successful matchmaking business, Master Matchmakers. After graduating from Drexel University in Philadelphia, Steven joined JoAnn Ward to grow Master Matchmakers into one of the largest and most successful personal matchmaking and coaching services in the United States. With hundreds of marriages under their belts, Steven and JoAnn have over 3500 clients throughout the country and plan to expand their business internationally.

Previously featured in Cosmopolitan Magazine's November 2003 Hottest Hunk edition, and having squared off with Jimmy Fallon on his premiere week of Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, Steven Ward is no stranger to the spotlight. He has received feature coverage in Woman's Own, Complete Woman, Cosmopolitan, Redbook, OK! Magazine, Us Weekly, People Magazine and Gotham Magazine for his career in matchmaking and commentary on dating, bachelorhood and relationships. Steve has also appeared on several national and regional TV programs including Good Morning America, The Today Show, The Morning Show with Mike and Juliet, Tyra Banks, Rachel Ray, The Insider, Entertainment Tonight, Access Hollywood, EXTRA, Fox News, and The 10! Show on NBC in Philadelphia.

In addition to starring in VH1's successful series, Steven and his mom JoAnn wrote the book "Crash Course in Love" published in November, 2009 by Pocket Books. The book is a refreshingly honest and handy resource for all women, whether they are looking for love and companionship or hoping to hold onto it. Steve and JoAnn's dating principles are organized into different stages in the relationship life cycle, from first impressions to maintaining and developing a deeper connection. Readers will learn how to flirt with a purpose, how to set up a date, when to get intimate, the best way to bounce back from rejection, and much more. Each suggestion is followed by a clear and concise passage providing insight for the reader with anecdotes and other helpful information as well.

Now Steven is back on the screen, expanding his role as executive producer and host of "Tough Love: New Orleans." Once again, Steven and JoAnn will work with a group of women during their ten-week boot camp to remedy their unsuccessful dating techniques and rid them of their bad habits while dishing out the constructive advice that they've become famous for. So tune in this season as Steve, JoAnn, and the ever-present hot seat take root in the Big Easy for some southern-style Tough Love.
