PAINTING IS A GREAT WAY TO

EXPRESS YOURSELF AND DO ART.

>> EXPRESS YOURSELF.

>> I'M GLAD YOU GOT A LITTLE

CHICK, JUSTICE.

CHICKS REMIND ME OF YOU GUYS.

>> I KNOW.

I CALL YOU MY LITTLE CHICKENS.

>> GET HIM, CALI.

QUACK, QUACK, QUACK.

>> QUACK, QUACK, QUACK, QUACK.

>> MOM, I KNOW WHAT YOU SHOULD

MAKE.

>> WHY SHOULD I PAINT THIS

LITTLE GIRL?

>> SHE LOOKS LIKE ME.

>> SHE'S HAPPY.

>> I'M HAPPY TOO.

YOU HAPPY?

>> YES.

>> WHAT YOU HAPPY ABOUT?

>> I'M HAPPY ABOUT THIS

PAINTING.

>> WHAT YOU HAPPY ABOUT, CAL?

>> I'M HAPPY ABOUT YOU SPINNING

AROUND WITH ME TOO.

I LOVE YOU TOO, CALI.

>> CALI, WHEN I'M NOT AROUND

YOU, I MISS YOU TOO.

IT BREAKS MY HEART TO SEE MY

DAUGHTER SAYING THAT SHE

MISSES ME.

I'M TRYING TO MAKE THIS

TRANSITION AS EASY AS POSSIBLE

ON ALL OF US,

BUT I THINK AT THIS POINT,

THE CHANGES THAT HAVE BEEN

GOING ON BETWEEN JAY AND I

ARE STARTING TO AFFECT OUR KIDS.

WHAT YOU THINK ABOUT

WHEN YOU'RE NOT WITH ME?

>> WELL, WHEN YOU GO TO DADDY'S

HOUSE AND MOMMY'S AT HOME BY

HERSELF, I MISS YOU SO,

SO MUCH.

I BE MISSING YOU, JUSTICE.

AT LEAST MY DAUGHTER MISSES

ME, HUH, CALI?

>> I DO.

>> SO HOW DO YOU EXPLAIN TO

A SIX- AND A THREE-YEAR-OLD,

WHO ARE USED TO THEIR PARENTS

BEING TOGETHER

THAT NOW MOMMY AND DADDY

HAVE SEPARATED?

I DEAL WITH THIS TYPE OF THING

IN THE CLASSROOM A LOT,

BUT I NEVER THOUGHT THAT I'D

BE DEALING WITH IT IN MY OWN

HOME.

YOU AND JUSTICE ARE MY BEST
