Sisters Ann and Nancy Wilson are the creative spark behind Heart, a hard rock group who initially found success in the mid-'70s. Watch the full episode!
I'm sure Sarah Palin is the kind of person who doesn't listen to the verse. Like Reagan using "Born in the USA." Religious fundamentalists have had their sense of irony removed if they ever had one in the first place. They are mostly incapable of truly understanding art. Politics aside it's easy to see why Heart wouldn't want their song being used by such a person.
The first rock concert I ever went to was Heart in 1988. They were amazing. It's people like them that inspired me to be a musician. I did feel bad for Ann because of her weight issues but she still sounded great and that's all that really matters. It's weird to look back now and see how much pain she was in. I ******' love them and I'm glad they're still around setting a great example for future generations of musicians. This is how you do it!
I so much enjoyed the Heart episode of Behind The Music. I love Heart--the Wilson sisters--their wonderful music.

In 1976. "Crazy for You" was a constant in the small town drive-in's intermission music. I love " Heart" !
