I feel bad for Mike. He was a nice guy....RIP. Kari Ann baited him...I wonder what goes through that girl's mind. And aww those kids were adorable. Also, I love that Kari Ann has an assistant. I pity that person..
Cari Ann is WAY more in the wrong. She was enticing ALL the men. (Not saying this cuz Mike just died). I mean Sizemore was tempted but was able to stop himself. But she really almost forced Mike to do it. *****!!! And as I said obviously really dumb (well, she WAS Miss Teen USA and I believe that it is a prerequiste.) But she DID NOT KNOW it was not proper to get naked and entice the men????? In treatment??? while they are working on their OWN problems IDIOT!!!!
So, hmmm, Cari Ann is not only a ***** but stupid. How PROUD her brothers must be.
I was a "Client" as Pasadena Recovery Center...these people wouldn't know recovery if it hit them in the face... vh1 is totally stagged and Dr. Drew is a glorified gynocologist... get real people... these people are here for the money and fame..... those of us who were there for "recovery" got shafted big time

Carie Ann - Come on, a sex addict pretending that she didn't know provoking the male patients wasn't a problem. I hope she seriously gets some help and becomes accountable and responsible.
I truly hope that Mike finds all the help he needs-and that Kari Ann is nothing but a slut.
Hello...(actually I must say I haven't even finished viewing this episode yet) I never would have thought that I would comment on this show, however, I must say that I am dissapointed in Dr. Drew whom I believe really wants to help people and I love him for that. He has time and time again spoken about how there are consequenses for actions...and here it seems that it does not seem to be the case...If "anyone" having "signed a contract" can get away with what Cari Ann and in my opinion, however, to a lesser extent Mike did on this episode without the repercussion of expulsion, then shame on you Dr. Drew, Producers, VH1. If I am unfairly naming anyone I apologize...This show has been an inspiration. Stay strong Shelly, William and Loesha!!!!!

I had sent some hope to a friend of mine and a song that would maybe halp her thru the last part of detox off Methadone, then I see 4 pages of comments on my profile. The KariAnn on sober house had 0 to do with that program. I agree with most of u about the B****, however this was a support for a friend who's name happened to be the same. I feel really hurt for my friend and told her about the bashing she saw people confused it with the show! Thank our higher power she didn't backslide or maybe worse, I'm truly sorry for the mix up if u would have listened to the song u could have seen this was just a mixup. Please read ur comments and when a song was sent the words r very important. Also, thank u for the positive comments about my friend. I'm 52 like one of the comment people who knew it was a friend! God Bless and continue doing what makes us happy MUSIC!

Kari Ann's friend calls himself 'Rock Star'?!?! Oh, that's precious, a complete unknown who decides to call himself Rock Star without even a hint of irony or humor.. Can it get any more cringe-worthy and creepy?. Anyone who calls themselves Rock Star is either too stupid to realize how corny that name is or is suffering from unjustified delusions of grandeur. If you're going to use a pseudonym please don't make it Rock Star becasue even rock stars don't call themselves rock stars. That's the kind of crap that's only impressive to people who haven't hit puberty. Why not just name himself "Pretentious Tool", "Out of Work Musician" or "Tone Deaf Trust Fund Baby"? At least then his name would be a bit more self descriptive. . With the fringe/feather jacket, highlighted tips of what's left of his receding hair line and the geeky glasses, he looks like the type of guy who gets his ass beaten every other night while trying to defend his wardrobe. Shouldn't KA be hanging around with some more respectable and less shady types. The guy looks like the definition of a male groupie/hanger-on. He makes David Weintraub look like one of the coolest people on the planet. You've gotta wonder how some of these people wind up entangled with such riff-raff. I've been to LA a few times and people like Rock Star are on every other corner. If you strike up a conversation, nine times out of ten, they start babbling on about their band, acting career, singing career, etc. You soon discover, however, that their real future lies in waiting tables, busing or driving cabs (no offense to anyone who works these job, since I tended bar for yrs myself. Difference was that I wasn't trying to be an actor or calling myself one while bar-tending). Find some cooler friends, KA. .
Shelly should not work in a treatment facility. She's a drama-junkie who displays an unfortunate lack of consideration for what these patients are going through. Just as the "house mother" of Sober House, she's overly quick to say "I want them out." A little less time pushing to toss people back into their addictions, a little more time focusing on the causes of the behaviors. I realize it's not easy to deal with people in these circumstances. I could not do it. Difference between myself and Shelly is that I'm not working a job I'm not suited for.
Ok 20 years sober I wanted to post this to your blog but had no idea how so I just am making the comment here. I want to thank you for responding to me and I am trying hard to do as you suggest and pray that he will be ok and when he has his head on straight he will decide he still wants me to be part of his life. 20 years is a wonderful thing and I pray it continues for you. Yeah, I noticed that too. Lisa is an attention junkie who will do almost anything to get noticed. In fact, a quick search on youtube pulls up dozens of her cheap, home made videos that showcase her "rapping" about c****, p****, etc while spreading her legs and wearing clothes that would make a stripper look respectable. She claims that "boys" (gotta love when a woman pushing 30 refers as a girl and men as boys) call her a *****, *****, etc b/c of women like Kari Ann? Kari Ann's a nun compared to Lisa. If she hates this stuff so much, why does she bother writing "songs" that glorify it?
Attention is attention. KariAnn I really think wants to be sober, but has a hard time dealing with the fact that maybe she won't be the center of attention once she leaves. She is also very crass in her way of dealing with life. She just needs to grow up a bit more. She'll ge there. If you have never walked in our shoes, it's hard to know what's going on in our heads.
Hey SJE. Ummm...let me see. Don't be offended by being pushed. It can still happen because we seem to have that part that sometimes we don't want to be happy...we feel like we don't deserve to be happy. Just give that person some space. Don't bombard them with questions and "don't you care?" Just give them a bit of space and let them figure out what they want. I hope that helped.
20 years...that seems like a lifetime and it has been a struggle, but I am here. I have not relapsed. I watch this show and it keeps me so grounded. Anyone out there that rags anyone or any staff person, you need to keep that to yourself. Dr. Drew and the staff are the absolute bomb. They actually care and if you think they're in it for the $$$$ you have never been where I have. There was no DR Drew when I was trying to get sober. This show is just...I cannot put into words. Please be positive when you talk on here. Staying sober is hard work. It's the hardest thing I have ever done in my entire 45 years. It can be done. To Tom Seizemore: Buddy I love you, I care about you. You are in the top 5 of my fave actors and I anticipate and cheer the day when we get to see you again on the big screen. Do this for you, for your kids, for life. Do not let ANYONE detour you from this. Not Heidi or anyone else. You are strong and you will beat this.
