dr. drew we need a real doctor to help Alexander from the Dr. Phil family. He is truly into ratings and has a young , unexperienced boy trying to give her an intervention that failed miserably. maybe you could help here with your skills and expertise.

I wish I had a way to reach Jason Davis about a Sober Network. There are so many things this man and a good set of people to be a council on reaching other alcoholics and drug addicts. He will find the more he works with and for sobriety the more sober and happy person. I am so proud of this bunch. We need to see how bad this is but we have to reach out to teens now before their friends find them dead!
That makes two of us Jennie. I worked with Mike back in 1989 at the very beginning of Alice In Chains. I hoped beyond hope that Dr. Drew and Sober house would be that point to change. And for a while he was sober but I think getting back into music ressurected that demon of Layne's Death. I wish I could be there for any one who needs that voice on the phone tell them what they already know, Take care and pray for others who still battle demons, Be blessed,

I was incredibly sad to hear the news Mike Starr fell to his demons. I wish it hadn't taken this for him to find some peace.
You must not have gotten a sponsor or worked the steps, because the LAST thing you learn in Al Anon is to enable. The first word my father learned when he went to Al Anon was "no". Did I like it, no! Did my family get well? Yes! I have been sober now for 11 years, it is a family disease, and I, too, went to Al Anon, got a sponsor/steps.
Making meetings IS important, but we will rarely stay sober with out taking the steps! In order, all 12. Just saying : ) I've been sober for 11 years, and I would have not have made it with out doing the work.
I believe they are up now.

I so wish I could be a phone friend to any one of these awesome people. If it wasn't for this show and especially of all the different addictions I would not have understood so many of what my friends are doing. I have a prayer list that from the first season I have put each of these on my prayer list and it is a long list in 4 seasons. I just want to help addicts that need someone that does not judge but listens with an ear and brain and see what is eating at them in that moment. Many of you hate certain ones but those are the ones crying out for just a quite moment of Love, Even I need love too and that is somethings many of us need that and I want a way to make a website so we check in daily and uphold each other.
