Lee DeWyze is an amazing songwriter and singer. I only wish VH1 would have allowed us to vote for his video to keep it in the countdown.
Also- on YouTube when you combine the Sweet Serendipity video and the song- over 1 million views by his fans!!!!
Love this video- watch it everyday... I would also like to be able to keep voting for it for the top 20! I love all of the music by Lee Dewyze. I will be a fan for life- hope to watch and hear some more here on VH1- really the first time I have come to VH1 for any artist.
I came on here to vote for Sweet Serendipity and did not find it on the playlist of videos. Is there some problem? I also heard Jim "whatshisname" oh Shearer make what I am sure he thought was a funny comment on Saturday right before the #11 video. Hey Jim....stick with your day job and please don't go the comedy route. NOT FUNNY!
If all the top 20 songs aren't listed on the countdown voting page, then I must conclude that the voting is bogus. You also control which video ranks high by choosing how often to play the videos on your program. Since the rankings are supposedly also based on radio play, why are several songs with less radio play ranked higher than this song? Again, bogus! This is just another entertainment show; don't take it seriously folks!
Wondering why I cannot find Sweet Serendipity on the voting page. It's still in the top 20 (16 I believe) so why can't I still vote for it for next week? I apparently missed some rudeness by the VH1 countdown host this morning. I don't have cable, so I only visit this countdown from this website. Glad I missed it. Why do you praise Lee on Twitter and slam him here? You are hypocrites. I am glad I don't have cable! What a waste of time watching on TV. Please reconsider your rude treatment of this artist. He is not going away; he'll play his music no matter what. Fame is not his thing, just good music.
Love "Sweet Serendipity" video. Such an optimistic message; catchy song and cute, upbeat storyline. BTW, please include Lee DeWyze on your artist search page (looked under "D" & could not find) so we can link to his artist page. Lots of nice articles, videos on there. :) Thank you.
How could you treat an artist with such a total lack of professionalism? The comments of the host were totally uncalled for. The decision to pull the song off the voting site for next week is totally unexcusable! Lee did nothing to deserve this. SHAME ON YOU!
I am very disppointed with VH1...Lee is not on this list! He has a lot of fans who still want to vote!
