When I first saw this years ago, I always kind of pozzled over Eddie's comments. I always took this song as a double-meaning.... "I'm still alive, barely alive," as in I'm walking wounded but I'm stil here, a survivor. No matter what you do to me, I'll come through it. Really an anthem for us Gen X'ers.
Eddie explaining "the curse." Such a personal song that became so big that it must have been rough to sing it night after night. Love the fact that EV has come to terms with the worlds love of this song and can now sing it in a better light.
