Life ain't fair, not to Jeff Conoway and not to me. I was born into a family where my grandparents, great aunts and uncles, aunts, uncles and cousins were murdered by the Nazis. There was no joy in ole mudville, that is, the house I grew up in. Just introspection. My parents having excaped Nazi Germany and come to the USA had 3 children. The oldest, a Woodrow Wilson scholar, OD-ed on heroin in 1974. My father died of a heart attack in 1972 and my mom went pretty nuts after that. In 1999, my alcoholic sister stood in front of a speeding freight train at the Sylmar station. The police collected her remains in a black 30 gallon garbage bag. Is it any wonder that at the age of 54 I turned to alcohol? I suppose I can be considered collateral damage or an unintended consequence. I go one day at a time and that is all there is. WHen I die I want to be able to say "that I did the best I could." Period, amen.

Jeff is a piece of s**t and Vikki was just acting! They deserve each other. I hope they dont bring him back for the 3rd season. Jeff just wants to be on tv! no one will hire him so this is the only way to get back in front of the camera.

Jeff and Viki together is a big MISTAKE! We need to pray for them, as it appears this could be their only true hope.

When I first saw Amber I was thinking "Great a dumb model", but as the show went on I grew to adore here. I wish her the best in life and her mother as well. As for Jeff Conaway, tell me he wasn't acting for the cameras when he was talking to Dr. Drew and he was talking about lost dreams or something. I don't think he was acting all the time, but that time, I have no doubt he was.

Yes, I agree with what some people below wrote about Jeff. He didn't need to use up all the time on the show just so we could go watch him go back home & do drugs when we knew he was gonna do that anyway.(Who knows, maybe him & Vikki staged the kick, so they could have more airtime?) I don't trust their motives. I knew in the beginning, Jeff was in it for the wrong reasons. Another celeb could've benefited from the program fer sure....like me. I know I'm not as famous as some of them, but God, I am on the level of Mary Carey or the Teen Idol singers at least. And I tried like hell to get on the show.I need rehab... I'm not bitter about it at all. I still got alot out of watching it, but I am just perplexed why someone who writes a load of songs about drugs(like me) & has been there & done it all like Amber, didn't get a fair shot...lol...it's ok....just google "Who Do I Have To Blow" That's all I have to say about that. I got as far as I could get and then it was about that...(who you know). But for those folks who don't even have an ounce of fame, it makes it seem like Dr. Drew, just dotes on certain folks...(especially Jeff & Seth)(If I were Dr. Drew, i would've had shifty taken off the roof & kicked off the show immediately, & Jeff & Vikki gone after the 2nd day. He needs to crack down on these guys harder. Clearly they had a real good chance to get it right & screwed up on national tv twice. It's soo twisted. I know part of the hype of the show is to show the pitfalls, but too much was focused on the pitfalls, & not enough on the recovery. And Sober house is gonna be a real pill of a show. OMG....but like someone wrote below. It will be watched. Happy Holidays. Venesa Talor

I am so0o0o excited for the new show everyone is gonna be in!! Called "Sober Living"i think it starts the jan 16th, and its almost all the patients and the mom of the sober home finds drugs, and needles and stuff. Its kind of sad on the trailer watching all the relapse thats going to occur. and of course Vh1 is there ready to film it all for good ratings. pretty sad,but I must say its gonna be one hell of a show!!

I said this elsewhere, but I dont think he's ever intended to be clean and sober of opioids. He said it in both seasons that he planned to go home and right back on the meds. And look...thats what he did. I wish his bed could have been given to another celebrity that was more motivated to change and would benefit from a 21day program (Jeff needs a 6mo program or more...21days is not enough)
