Ok, I got a huge problem with ABBA ranking higher than anyone else on the list. And what's up with The Band being ranked like 85? Really? One of the most influential rock bands ever and you have them in the mid 80's - pathetic!
The times have changed...how many modern rock stars would cite Buddy Holly as influential as he was. There are not many artists from before the 80s simply because of the audience they asked. I bet if they ask magazine editors and producers you would see more Joy Divisions and Claptons on the list, but alas they target group seemed to prefer Mary J Blige. Certainly not a list to take seriously. However as the worlds biggest Talking Heads fan I was thrilled to see them with a nice showing...

Overall the list is pretty fair. But like everyone else I have a few issues...Like, Justin Timberlakes makes the list, but Eric Clapton does not. And worse than that, how can there be a list of top 100 without Buddy Holly?
