Watch a recap of this dramatic episode.
You must be the most desperate dudes on earth. I'd rather date a monkey than Fleiss. A monkey would be more attractive, sweeter and smarter. Also, monkey's don't play passive aggressive head games...
you go tom and mike
Good for you Tom. Sometimes I think your the only one in the house taking your stuff seriously.
Desperate much?!?
To Simonsez: I started out wondering the same thing; why did Mike get seeemingly easier treatment than Kari Ann, since they both punched camera men, but I think Dr. Drew probably evaluates these things based on the history of the person and what the other residents want. KariAnn had such a long history of being abusive and wanting back in. I could see why it was left up to the other residents. The residents expressed a desire to forgive Mike because they could see past his disease to the good heart beneath and he focused his anger more on cameramen and a few staff. Someone earlier said that Will could take care of himself and KA shouting at him shouldn't be a consideration as to whether or not you want KA back in the house. I think it is a consideration, and that's why the staff left it up to them. These residents' sobriety is fragile and if Will is part of their support system, they naturally will want to protect him, and stop someone who is abusive. Whether or not she directs her venom at you, they must wonder when she'll start to spew at them, if she can be that nasty to someone as sweet as Will. I have stopped liking Heidi because I think she's almost as vicious as Kari Ann, but on some level I was glad she got rid of KA -- I felt like KA had the viewers on such a roller coaster ride ourselves, that I can't imagine how chaotic and unsafe that felt to the addicts. I would have felt extremely unsafe around someone who says such hurtful things; she seemingly has no conscious about it, she's very abusive, but can't see herself as anything other than the victim. She is like a wounded rabid animal. I hope somewhere she finds the kind of treatment she needs, but I think she threatens too many people in her wake. I can't blame Dr. Drew for trying, because KA has probably made more progress than had she not entered rehab at all, even if her motivation was all wrong. And, this disease is life and death. You can't blame anyone for trying, but I agree it's now time for them to let her hit rock bottom - tough love - before she will be ready to do the work she needs. And, she possibly needs psychiatric care. Just like the others (Tom Sizemore, eg) had to get kicked out of previous rehabs before he learned the importance of avoiding the body painting incident with KA, that nearly got Mike kicked out. So too, Kari Ann may need several rehabs like Tom Sizemore, before she learns to control her abusive side and play by the rules.
Kari Ann just wanted to promote herself... and look how much attention "we" are giving to her...
I dont understand why Dr. Drew even wants to help kari ann. She has no intention to participate in group and she is very rude to the staff, which shows her lack of interest in wanting to get off drugs (if she even really has a problem) and her lack of respect for the people trying to help her. If you noticed, she always plays the victim with Dr. Drew and acts like this sweet, innocent girl who is really victimized by those people and she did nothing to provoke it at all. And she also lied from the beginning, if she was sent home and couldnt resist drugs, what makes you think she resisted drugs before she went to sober house? Another thing that's so funny was, she said in rehab that she was embarrassed about doing drugs but if she was so embarrassed, then why did she go to a rehab center that just happened to be on tv? My point exactly. She doesnt want any help because she would show appreciation and receive all the help she could, if she really did. Im so glad that Jen kicked her out to be honest, its clear she doesnt want help and no one can help some one who doesnt want it.
Jealous of what?? Did I miss something??!!!
Jealous about what !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
I hope Mike makes it through this horrible withdrawal he is having. The drugs change his personality completely. Mike seems genuinely remorseful of his actions while using, and does want a better life - but all he knows is playing his bass and getting high. KariAnne doesn't give a hoot about anyone but herself, high or drug free. She doesn't participate, doesn't own up to her part in any of her problems, and just likes to stir up trouble with her drama.. Heidi spoke the truth.
Seth stated he didn't want KariAnne back because of the way she treated Will is nonsense - Will can take care of himself when it comes to handling KariAnne. How many times has he been let back in Sober House and yet he doesn't want KariAnne back. Heidi should have spoke for herself - instead of saying no one wants KariAnne back ... - I didn't hear the others backing her up. Jen sat there and said nothing because she is jealous of KariAnne. I don't recall Mike having to go through the tribunal - I just heard Jen say welcome back when he came back to the house.
ONLY 5 yrs...It sounds as if you DONT HAVE ANY IDEA.5 minutes to a recoverying addict can feel like 5 years,so 5 years IS something. She clearly is doing something right. As for you.....NO COMMENT NEEDED
Speaking of UGLY..Do YOU know what a battered woman goes through? How even when bruises heal, the mind stays scared & battered? What do LOOKS have to do with anything by the way.Look at KERRI..OMG for a pretty outside its clear theres nothing INSIDE with ANY beauty to it.If there was she wouldnt treat people like she does,\ At least Hedi WANTS help. You can tell shes not there just to stay in the SPOT_LIGHT....I would never say the same about Kerri-Ann
I understand what your saying bubbahead,however..if they didnt want to be talked about than they shouldnt of put themselves outhere to be talked about. I also think that maybe some comments(good & bad)may help them (if they even read this)or may help another addict somehow.Being in recovery I know one of the WORST things someone can do is "candy-coat)someones actions. If we ONLY gave/give positive feed back they may never learn how to change bad behavior. As an point...if we only say good things about Kerri_Ann who clearly is NOT someone who takes recovery seriously, how could that benefit her or anyone.By saying acting like how she is is okay...what kind of message does that really send. Here in "the real"world she would of NEVER gotten away with so much....
This a reply to Dee: I don't like KA either but the juice in the morning thing I get. I'm going to try explain this the way it was explained to me by my Dr. I would like to add that I'm not a recovering addict nor am I one, this is a medical condition all unto itself. When she states she has a hard time waking up in the morning that she needs her juice and cigarette and to give her a min. she is coming out of a really deep sleep deeper than the average person. And the juice is a sugar rush to her brain. I was told to keep candy beside my bed for 1st thing in the morning. This is not a mental illness or anything along those lines. But when you have this and you do not take that to adjust to being awake and give your body something like sugar or juice you will get up and you feel very lightheaded, sick to your stomach, and you have a very high risk of passing out. It's not fun living like this because it does take up longer to get up and get going in the morning. I need an hour just to wake up before I start getting ready for work without the sick feeling. Now in her case she is using it to advantage and abusing what has probably not been treated or explained to her or maybe it has or she figured out on her own that the juice makes her feel better. You can live a normal, productive life with this but if you over sleep the flight of the bubble bee getting ready doesn't work out too well because your more than likely going to loose your cookies sometime before you can get ready, or pass out in the shower, or worse have a massive headache all day until you do go back to sleep. It's not the best feeling in the world for me I know and I would hate to think how this would affect somebody with a form of mental illness or that had a drug problem. The problem I have is that I don't do sugar so bless you KA for having this because I had not thought of juice until you. You know what it works it really does make getting up alot easier and you don't fell like crap for an hour after you wake up. Thanks to you I can make it through my morning with 2 cups of coffee and not the whole pot.
I can't believe that a bunch of strangers(all of us) get to comment on other people's lives. I understand that they chose to get sober on TV(and I thank them and applaud them for it), but it still seems wrong. I think the least that we can do is give positive comments.
I'm the most proud of Seth for choosing to go back home and play board games! It really shows that he "gets it." Good job Seth! And Kendra too! But, I'm most proud of Seth and he really wants it this time! Thanks Dr. Drew for letting him come back this time! Yeah Seth!
