Brandy gets defensive of Ray J when Ryan wants Rodney Jerkins to work on his album.
brandy jus be goin OFF on ryan's ass, damn..haha she does not like him, smh
Great show. Keep it coming VH1. I like seeing a functioning family that just happens to be black. Very rare for American TV. Besides the Huxtables, they don't exist if you ask mainstream TV producers. No drugs, No alcohol, just regular people with a real mother and father.
i hope ray has millions in his bank account! because brandy is the business! ray that was wrong! brandy BRING IT THE WAY ITS SUPPOSE TO BE BROUGHT! U GOT IT! U NEED TO TRUST UR OWN JUDGEMENT! stay humble and u got this! keep it 1000% ray!
The Bonus Clips are the best, they really show how gutta it gets, shot out to VH1 for posting bonus clips it amps me up for the next episodes!
It's too bad that Brandy seems to be basing the success of the "Human" album on record sales. I thought the Human album was a superb album. Theme-wise and songwriting-wise it was deeper than any of her previous albums. I love that album, regardless of whether it was a commercial success to Brandy or not. Whether Rodney was involved or as involved that album was a great new direction for Bran. Love you B-rocka.
I think part of the reason Brandy and Rodney have issues is because her child's father Robert Smith, is a close friend of Rodney's. Reading in between the lines, it looks like when they broke up it affected her relationshiop with Rodney and he didn't give her his best work because of it. She's getting mad because Ray and them know the real deal behind it all and they are acting dumb. Ray J is so full of it sometimes! I could be wrong, but of course theyre not gonna bring up any of that on the show. They won't even show her daughter, which I don't blame her, but I'd love to see her and Sonia in "mommy/grandma" mode with sy rai. Love the show anyway.
I love the show i never miss it.
this is Pachino like the Scarface from houston! I really enjoy sitting back and watching the show.. I'm a up and coming rap artist so love to watch Ray J and Brandy become more business like in the music industry. keep doing your thang
I so agree with you, but some artist don't have control over their albums and how they are produced, and from looking at the previous episode, brandy really doesn't participate in her career. She places her trust solely in the hands of her mom, record label, producers and her dad
In the music industry alot of artist don't have creative control over their projects and the a & r reps, and label reps leave will only allow certain songs they believe will be a hit to be put on records, also they limit artist to select producer they can work with, and in all honesty it is up to the producer to give the artist good music. She def should have some of the blame on her, but look at Monica's and Fantasia's reality show and see how much control they had on their album. She may have the gift of song, but it is up to the producer to make the song a hit
i agree, i love brandy but i don't think she can put the full blame on rodney, rodney has gave her some of her greatest hits and best albums, every artist has an album every so often that don't do so well, she talking like human was a terrible album, i love the human album and thought it was a pretty good album, is it her best, no, but still a good album maybe it didn't do as well as she expected it to but i think it did pretty well, i think her album sold more in its first week release than beyonce's i am sasha fierce so i think she's exaggerating a lil bit
I love Brandy and Ray J mom, Mrs. Norwood....She is awesome.
love the show.... I am a hudge fan of BRANDYS' love her music..
I don't know how the entertainment industry works completely, but why is the full blame on Rodney Jerkins? It's not like Brandy was slammed into the studio and forced to sing the songs. Didn't she have to confirm these songs, too? Didn't she have to approve the material she was given? Couldn't she have said, "I don't want to use this because it's not your best material." I honestly wonder would she have this attitude if she didn't like the material, but it was successful. Is the attitude about album sales or his best work. I'm leaning towards the first one, but again, why is this Ray J.'s problem?
I get why Brandy is mad, but what I don't understand is why she's venting to Ray J. like he should be just as hot about it. Why does Ray J. have to have beef with Rodney, too? Brother or not, that has nothing to do with him. I didn't like that high school attitude like, "If I don't like him, you shouldn't either." I'm glad they talked, but I listened to her complaining thinking, "Let your brother do him. Please."
Brandy needa go sit her ass down wit this unprofessionalism. The only reason she mad is cuz her last album flopped so it makes sense to blame Rodney Jerkins. If your personal relationship ain't right then the professional definitely ain't gon be right, which means the chemistry from the previous albums ain't there no more so just keep it 100.
Brandy is awesome. I love the way she checkmated Ray J.
