Meet the couples of My Big Friggin' Wedding!
Shows like this are making Long Island and NJ look bad! These people represent about 5% of the NY/NJ metro area (and that number would be even lower if Staten Island and Brooklyn didn't exist) The other 95% of us, CANT STAND these people. There are some really nice areas of Long Island and NJ... We have beautiful state parks, rolling green hills, some of the most amazing picturesque beaches you'll ever see, historic light houses, exquisite architecture, nature preserves, art and history museums, celebrity houses, historic mansions and estates, some of the nicest vineyards and wineries in the country, quaint little villages, farms and apple orchards, botanical gardens and arboretums, some of the best 5 star restaurants in the world (several celebrity chefs that you see on the food network have restaurants in NJ or Long Island) festivals and events happening almost every weekend... These people do not represent the NY/NJ metro area. I'm sick of shows like this one and Jersey Shore that represent such a small percentage of our population. I'm not gonna lie- they do exist... I have my occasional run-in with a group of guidos and guidettes out at a Friday happy hour. And sometimes you'll see a nice little house get knocked down because a family of guidos wants to build an over-sized gaudy, tacky house that takes up the entire yard and becomes an eye sore to the rest of the neighborhood. What you people need to understand is- the rest of us hate these people even more than you do. If you're from the south, I'm sure you hate seeing redneck trailer trash on TV and you get mad because that's not what you would like to represent your area. If you're from California I'm sure you don't want blonde bimbos like the cast of The Hills representing you. You get my point...
