Tune-in to the premiere of Celebrity Rehab Season 4 Wednesday, December 1st at 10/9c.
I love you crystal! It is nice to see some one love Dr. Drew as much as I do. I agree that this should be required viewing in rehabs and addicts should watch this after they get out. I am a recovered addict and this show has helped me tremendously.
Amen Linnyb44. Could not have said it any better. I always said that Pasadena recovery center's 21 days was no where near long enough. That's why Dr. Drew stresses an after care program so intensely!! Especially trying to get them to go to soberhouse with Jen.
I really love this show. I love people who want really bad to improve their live. I hope the best for all these celebs. I went to a inhouse program back in 2001 and it was the best 28 days of my life. I wish I could live there all the time. It's safe, fun, and a family environment.
i watch it an didnt ap[pricate eric robberts saying he sound retard when he came out of his comma we are trying to get people to stop saying that word an when a famous person use it it just make it seem ok .it hurtfull an not ok i have a disibilty an growing up been call the r word not cool eric not cool
I would love to hear more from you about this and your experience... i have never tried herion, but i know alot from personal experience about addiction.Either way,i wish u the best!!! =)
does it really matter who's Mom Frankie is? doesn't she deserve the same opportunity to get treatment?
i feel the same way... =) i love this show and just started watching this season.
I just started watching the show season 4... I won't get into my personal issues except that I have almost 2 years sober and I had to do it on my own as a single mom. Alot of he things that were covered on the show helped me. When Dr. Drew explained why children of addicts tend to lash out more after their parents become sober it helped me understand why my 17 year old son says alot of the things he does even though I KNOW he loves me. It has helped me not to take it too hard and to understand that it is part of his healing process. Before learning this on Dr. Drew's show, it made me want to use again... because of the guilt. I thought my son was trying to hurt me. i know now that he just needed an appology... he needed me to validate his feelings. Things have been alot better for both of us since then. thank you, Dr. Drew!!!! xoxoxoxox!!!! =)
hi, i just want goctor drew and all the patients have probably saved my life. thank you, thank you, thank you. best reality show ever. i could write a book on all the things i have in common wiyh all the patients. i am now healthier and happier than ever before. keep helping people.
Hi! I just wanted to make a couple of very quick comments: First of all, right out of the gate, I feel that Celeb. Rehab is probably not as luxurious and posh as Frankie (only known when her name is followed by Keisha Cole's Mother) probably requires.Frankie has obviously been given a set lifestyle by her doting daughter (instead of the Mom being the supportive and guiding force, but that's for another time/day)and without those certain features, Frankie just is NOT going to be happy. I think that Frankie needs to spare the time of everyone involved with the show and sign-out now...maybe she can find an ultra-posh hotel room someplace fully equipped with as much crack and alcohol as possible...and let FRANKIE rehab herself. And just this last little nugget....Janice Dickenson LOOKS, in MY opinion, the very BEST that she has EVER looked! I can't exactly put my finger on what is usually so unhealthy looking about her...but whatever it has been, it's gone and she is really looking better AND much younger! You go girly! Crissy, Tampa, USA
I was a herion addict for ten years, that was hard. worse, I got on methadone after kicking herion.I have been on methadone for 10 + year. This stuff should be illigal! I am at 7 mg's today and I lower my dose the moment I stop feeling sick. I saw Mike Star kick methadone last season and I am terrified, I would love to know if has remained clean since the show and what med's, if any helped him get through the methadone kick? I feel the use of methadone should be discussed, because few people understand how evil this "legal" drug is.
the fat rich kid is so far over the top, I'm wondering if this is being scripted. Maybe he's a real jerk at first, then he see's the light and turns into a really great guy.It would make the show look good. I just can't see them keeping the guy in there. He's way too much for everyone.
Trust me been..been there done that
Janice- this seems like the worst ...things will get better
3 weeks of intensive inpatient treatment is definately not long enough to change any addict's behavior. I work at a drug and alcohol rehab facility in PA. Most addict's need at least 90 days of inpatient treatment, then a sober living facility, intensive outpatient programs, 90 AA meetings in 90 days. The transition back into reality is very stressful and either the addict is going to work the program and stay clean. Have a sponsor and go to NA or AA meetings or they aren't. They have to put the effort into staying clean. The addict has to have hit rock bottom and WANT to change. The addict can not change bc someone else wants them to. That's the bottom line, they have to WANT to change
Jason Davis is a disgusting pile of ****. He attacked Janice from the second he saw her, and did not stop since. He is like an immature school boy with a crush. I'm shocked she has not tore him down yet. It just shows how weak she is. That isn't fair, nobody else has someone harassing them. How is she supposed to get better? This Jason Davis seriously makes me vomit, he is a greasy loser and I can smell him through the TV. He makes me gag. The only reason anyone has ever talked to him in his entire pathetic wasteful life was because of his FAMILY'S money. If not for that he wouldn't even be on this show. Why must I even have to look at this waste of human life on my television. Please continue doing heroin and die, quickly, you beastly, sweaty, grotesque monster.
Eric looks GREAT!!! Better than ever.
Eric looks GREAT!!!
I am excited 2 see this season of Dr. Drew Rehab!
Dr. Drew = Fortress! His choice to remain non-judgemental and maintain a formative composure to fight the actual culprit which is drugs... continues to amaze me. His sincere desire to help others is very inspirational and infectious. I have watched this series from it's inception and believe it is both informative as well as it continues to shed light on a national epidemic our country continues to gloss over. This show should be required viewing for every recovery center in existence if for nothing else but to remind people to remain compassionate when dealing with detox situations which are vicious. I do not know how Dr. Drew sustains his composure but I am moved by his strength.
