I hate that Faith No More, Sepultura, and Pantera were covered in the same episode as Limp Bizkit and Lincoln Park. Those three bands were way too talented to demean by calling them Nu Metal. Mike Patton even apologized for inspiring that Nu Metal movement.
FEAR FACTORY?
WHAT HAPPENED TO FEAR FACTORY. THE SHOW IS LOST WITH OUT THEM

speaking of funk-related bands that get mentioned in the beginning like Faith No More, I'm surprised Infectious Grooves and 311 never got mentioned.
the next episode should be about death metal and grindcore.
As convenient a target as Fred Durst has become for All That Went Wrong with Nu Metal, I don't understand how he always gets blamed for what transpired at Woodstock '99. As a member of the 400K strong crowd, I watched him perform that fateful SATURDAY night and, admittedly, he did nothing to quell the escalating energies of the crowd. It should be noted, however, that after Limp Bizkit performed, both Rage Against the Machine and Metallica played.
This was a good episode but Helmet should have been mentioned as an influence of nu metal and also Godsmack and Staind should have been mentioned along with Disturbed and Linkin Park.
This was a good episode but there was no mention of Helmet who I think were a big influence on nu metal and also no mention of Staind and Godmsack who should have been mentioned along with Disturbed and Linkin Park.
