The harmony on the final chorus...the high harmony...is equal to the final high note in Showbiz. I didn't realize it until somebody made a video with just the background vocals.
This song is better live. They opened with it on The Resistance Tour and Matt was being his obnoxious self and blinding everybody with laser beams using a mirror while wearing flashing blue glasses. Needless to say it was amazing. Love the video, though. This really does deserve to be number one. OH. And I thought it was only me but no...everybody sings "Fat cats had a heart attack" louder than any other lyric XD. Oh sorry...fangirl moment...Matt is the only man in history who can **** you with his eyes.
Maybe asking a lot. This song is an anthem for change. This country is asking for leaders, unfortunately the so called conservatives and democrats are not it . This song is anthem for not only political change, but to change within ourselves. To organize and take our country, our world back. This is not a pop tune. This is a call to action. Lets forget the labels, the sound bites. This is the home of the free and the brave. There is more to unite us, than to divide us. Lets dump the cool aid, lets make America America again. Lets unify, and make our flag ascend.
I like the Dr. Who intro. This song is blues and new wave. This vocal has grit, style and audicity. This has a war tone to it. Its desparing and hopeful. Not the video, but this song is the equal to Pearl Jam's doing the evolution.
