Ace Frehley stops by to give the Rock N' Roll Fantasy Camp bands some expert Kiss advice. Watch the full episode!
LOL!!!!!! The guy who wrote the riff and solo doesn't get to play it.LOL!"Ace was looking at us like we had 8 heads".LOL!!
I'm all for adding humor, but not at the expense of turning it into a cartoon. The draw for me in watching the show was to see how well complete strangers meshed with each other when putting together a band. The fun for me comes in seeing how they get from point A to point B, and ultimately onto the stage to see if they have "it". In any situation, especially in a tense filled arena as making music, humor goes a long way to keep people at ease to help with the creative side of writing a song and jamming. But there were a couple of people on the show that just hammed it up a little too much. So much so, that they looked extremely bad and unprofessional to the rest of us watching at home. I can give them a pass because they are on a TV show (probably their first time too) and they really don't know how to act in a situation like this. Worse still is if it were the shows producers telling them how to act so that they can get their little sound bites for editing the episodes later.
I thought he was the most entertaining with the kilt! None of the the people were a Celine Dion.
I'm a fan of the FI and Protons. I think they should have shown more of the Protons having fun. I wouldn't want to watch the show if they didn't show the goofy parts. HW needs to keep asking more funny questions and the Tug Boat group needs to lighten up, ad some humor and quit crying. I don't agree with your write up on this episode. I don't want to watch a boring serious, crying show. May fit your needs, but bore me sleep with the serious stuff, gag. Bring the kilt on! Keep in mind, you are watching a soap opera and you type as though you believe the soap opera and how the producers edited it in the places they did. Soap operas are not real, the producers cut, paste and edit.
....aaaaaaaand, someone kill that Scottish singer...
..I think they don't pick musicians that can make things work...I get it, but...who doesn't know "RocknRoll all Night"??...funny...
Guest: Ace Frehley.... The beginning of the episode was a complete cluster f**k. It's clear that there are certain people in each band that don't know anything about music let alone their own instruments. So having to listen to each band butcher KISS' Rock And Roll All Night with Ace jamming along was just to much for me to take. And once again, Heather proves to be an idiot of epic proportions. Stop what the "I got a band, will you join my band" s**t. You have no business asking huge Rock Stars like Lemmy Kilmister to join your band when you yourself can't play for s**t. I can only imagine that she asked Matt Sorum the same question and got rejected so harsh that VH1 refused to air it. Moving on, I am actually quite please with how the original songs turned out for both Tugboat Circus' Twist Of Fate Symphony and Firecracker Suite's Bury Me Alive. Janelle knocked this one out of the park. Bravo. There is no saving Proton Saint. Their song is horrible.
