I love this song and Safetysuit. It hasn't been that long since i've started listening to them, but they have become one of my favorite bands. I saw their show in Murfreesboro on October 17th and they were amazing. I love Doug and the rest of them. They're all so hot haha. And they are way nice. They asked everyone's names and shook everyone's hand. I'm proud to have them be from my hometown. Aside from Mayday Parade, I believe Safetysuit is the only other band who, to me, that does not have one bad song.

The song is fine -- but No 1 video celebrating domestic violence while singing a love song??? This is SICK and disgusting. Safety Suit, I think you can do better if you "want do to music that means something" -- great -- make non-violent videos.
I absolutely love "Meant to Live" as well, but do not see the similarity, let alone the need to be embarassed. Play the two songs together and you will see nothing aside from possibly timing as a similarity. SafetySuit is an incredible and talented band and are pretty unique in their sound. Great job on making it to number one on the countdown. Can't wait to see them again!

I 100% agree that they copied the sound of Switchfoot's "Meant to Be". They should be embarrased. Can't wait to see what song they mimic next. They should be humiliated for taking so much credit for someone elses work and to be in the top 3 of the countdown??? SAD. and sad to all of you who think this is original. Swithfoot's entire CD has a lot of great memories to me and I want to keep it that way. One very special person introduced me to them and I loved them every since. Both the CD and the person will always have a lot of meaning. These copycats should just wrap it up. They ruin it.
