After doing some thinking and some research my theroy and its only a opinionated theroy the reason Memphis gets no luv and recognition and especially memphis artist like 8ball and Mjg is because not all but most of these artist that were on that show have sold they soul to the secret society(illuminati). I hate tribute albums and half that show was a tribute type a show, why was drake whos not from the south, that mf is from toronto CANADA? where was ZRO, SCARFACE? why was Game there, doing SCARFACES VERSE ON MIND PLAYING TRICKS ON ME? artist like ball & g who have sold alot of albums over 20mil have put in work but dont cater to the bullcrap, get held back and down by the people that have control over vh1, bet, mtv, every radio station in the country, but the cowards that contral the music industry, media, and everythang else that we are surronded by want to dumb us down by making us accept what they give us and allow us to hear and see., if u listen to the music closely they saying the same bullcrap. you see the hiding messages of the illuminati in alot of the artist vids, these artist that were on the music awards show are all puppets to the secret society just like politcal folks in offices and every president every to have control in the U.S. these folks dont care about the real streets of MEMPHIS. they dont want to hear the real artist like 8ball & MJG, PLAY FLY, AND MR. SCHE. who talk about real isht. they are a threat to the secret society just like 2pac was. and u see what happend to Pac, and Michael Jackson before he was gonna go on a 12 show tour and the song he was rehearsing Jackson was exposing the illuminati and the secret society "they dont really care about Us" hes talking about them! the society. so back to the show i fully cant blame vh1 totally 100% because im sure someone said that they couldnt have certain artist on the show for various reseasons, just ask CHAMILLIONARE when he did his second major album, he made money off of it but it didnt do as good because they told him what he could and what songs he could have on there, he was trying to put the HTOWN ON THE MAP BY putting HTOWN artist on the album but they made him take half his song off because the record company was telling him, "we dont know this artist and this artist so take these songs off. and i feel they treat MEMPHIS dirty, these higher people hide the TRUTH FROM U. MEMPHIS STARTED CRUNK, but they give credit to LIL JON AND ATLANTA? THEY DONT WANT TO GIVE MEMPHIS CREDIT FOR NOTHIN BUT THEY WANT TO TAKE OUR ISHT, OUR BEATS, USE OUR ARTIST ON FEATS. ETC TRUTH. I COULD GO ON AND ON WITH IT BUT WHATS THE POINT, INTIL MEMPHIS SELLS THEY SOUL TO THE DEVIL, WE WONT GET THE LOVE SO I SAY =UCK EM' WE GONNA DO US THE RIGHT WAY! MEMPHIS OR DIE. Well the show was WACK!!! I was crunk at the beginning but looking back at it NO DEAL. vh1 threw the south a bone because everyone they honored did enough for music to have they own show, but the "up north" woulda been mad at that, u know they talk down on everything we do, then go get southern production and features. Then NO MEMPHIS!!!!! Are you f%cking kiddin me???!!!! 8Ball & MJG are only rap pioneers, they were the first people I knew a mass of people listening to and they were not on TV, so literally they were the first underground/independent rappers I knew. And no 3-6????!!!! I mean they only started CRUNK MUSIC!!! not Lil Jon, remember he was doing bass music back in the day, DO YOUR RESEARCH...Plus they only won a OSCAR or GRAMMY or somein......Then yall bring out the "NEW TEXAS" with no Mike Jones, and yeah I know nobody cares about Mike now maybe, but he sold the most records out of that new texas wave.....Then yall had the nerve to jus do Luke and the 2 Live Crew for Florida Bass???!!!!! Yeah yall gave him the props he deserve, but NO DJ MAGIC MIKE, ** BOYZ OR 95 SOUTH.....I MEAN TOOTSIE WAS ONLY ON THE BILLBOARDS LIKE A GAZILLION YEARS.....TOOTSIE ROLL GETS MORE REFERENCES IN OTHER SONGS AND ON TV SHOWS THAN ANYBODY!!!!!!!! show was garbage, I was excited before the show but Like anthony said it aint the dirty south if u dont include 3-6 who been doing they thang since 1991 in memphis, or the legends 8ball and Mjg who have sold over 20million records for christ sake. whoever put this show together definetly didnt do they research, thats why i dont read the source, vibe and all those NY/Atl bais mags. I could go on and on, Not only did they leave all of my Memphis folks out but they left out Outkast and Pastor Troy from Atl, Houston yea Willie D was there but how do u not have Scarface/Bushwick Bill. DJ Screw and the Screwed up click in Houston, no mention of the cash money millioners either, and lil romeo repping no limit was a joke! half the show was about Luke so that made me think he had his hand in the pot too. Also NO DAVID BANNER?, he put the SIPP ON THE MAP. this show was mad for the 25 and under group again, this show was about the south why was Diddy and fAb on there? but know BALL & MJG. Again Memphis gets the slap in the face, we started Crunk and the whole south thang along with Houston. I would have dug deep to the roots and reconized Pretty tony, spanish fly, Al kapone, Gangsta Pat, Triple 6, DJ Squeeky, Skinny Pimp, i could go all day, Boo, Chat, Koop, K-Rock, T-Rock(ATL) Gotti, Playa Fly, etc. but our time will evenually come, we just gotta kick the damn door down and come 360. I agree to the fullest! If any other state should have been on here Tennessee should have been on here. Even three-6 won a grammy! Even though it was only DJ Paul and Juicy J at the time, the still won it. And ask almost anybody born and raised in the south they can rap at least one 8Ball and MJG* song.
