It's day four of treatment and some patients are still having a hard time adjusting to life in rehab!
I love Steven, he is so sweet
I agree Vicky just wants camera time!!
I can speak from personal experience...I am an addict, and an alcoholic who has been in recovery since September 16, 1998. These are human beings, and they are fighting for their lives. As with all addicts and alcoholics, we strive to exist, to love, to fear, to fall, to understand emotion on an ontological level. All are worthy of respect. This is not entertainment. This is a re-connection with Humanity.
Yay for Steven! He's so funny I love him. ^^
Dr. Drew: I admit, this is the only "reality" show that I will watch from start to finish, as I find it interesting. I am, however, disappointed that you would allow certain obvious Reality TV start wannabees get screen time and pretend to have an addiction or over-dramatize, in an effort to catapult them to TV infamy. Exhibit-1: VICKIE IS OVER-ACTING!!! I thought she was gonna die when she realized you would nt let her stay at PRC (where the cameras are) as opposed to the non-televised area. Please, please...this woman VICKIE just drags down the "credibility and somewhat reallness" of the show. I really feel like her and Gary are plants. Jeff may be over-acting as well. I mean, he has been here twice now?? Is any of this scriptyed as well. How sad if you would allow that for a purported medicals show. I hope not.
Your addictions may have taken over your "person" but your talents are still as strong. I hope we get to hear all your singing, talents, etc. Gary were you ever on Taxi? Do any of you guys know each other before rehab in your professions?
Gary Busey went to high school just a few miles from my home. We both went to the same college although he is quite a bit older than I am. He definately has a brain injury, as he wasn't combative before his accident.
