Shayne is a narcissistic, self-absorbed, shallow person. Her husband made a lovely gesture by his surprise date (which she was at first excited about) and she shizzled all over it. She didn't appreciate any of it and she whined the entire time. I give him credit for trying and I give her thumbs down. BRAT!000a000aI had to laugh - her main reason for not wanting to go horseback riding? Because she had a recent boob job. HAHAHAHA!!!

Not sure why the couples are bothering Courtney and Doug. Yes she dress very sexy. I careless how the person dress as long as their nice to me. The couples does not agree with their marriage. I do not have a problem with their marriage cause everything was legal AND they love each other. Back in 1700's to 1800's men married young women.

Nik is trying to be romantic and Shane will not shut up. She love to argue and she cannot be happy and enjoy life. She need to be living on the streets or in a 3rd world country with no food or clothes, then maybe she will change her way.

But for real people what the hell does Shane do for a living ?, other than putting on her resume she's Lorenzo Lamas daughter and being on the bachelor ? I really thought before her name appeared on the show and just seeing her picture I thought she was Rod Stewart's daughter.. She don't have not one ethnic gene in her body.. (Damn Lorenzo Lamas) He made sure he found someone Lily white to have a child by.. She is not pretty..

FYI, the only thing on Shane that is latin is her damn last name. Nobody would even if it wasn't for her holding for dear life her maiden last name.. Latin isn't black..

I agree, who told Courtney she was attractive anyway ? I think coming from a daughter of a plastic surgeon.. Courtney needs her teeth capped, nose job, cheek fillers, and she needs to get into a gym to work out oh yes she needs someone to do her extensions over and do a better job and then she could try to flaunt whatever she wants. But, she is a lot of work.

Wrong, I think he had the perfect date planned out in his mind and once she stated she wasn't thrilled with the idea instead of trying to compromise to maybe come up with a back up plan he PUSHED her to go through with it which was just plain immature. Relationships are a two way street and wouldnt you prefer to go on a date knowing both of you are equally as excited to be doing whatever it is you've set out to do? it cant be a one way street.

speaking as a wife i can say that i do understand where shane is coming from about the horseback riding in the sun. i feel that nik should have considered the weather when planning his date. for example told took monica on a boat ride over a large body of water so im sure they were cool and comfortable. however i would have simply mentioned to my husband that it is really hot and riding horses in the sun would be not such a great idea. but if he got defensive and it was something he really wanted to do i would have dropped the subject and tried to respect his effort by enjoying the beauty of nature and trying to put his feelings first before the weather. then we would have enjoyed the lunch and it would have been a great day. they both need more work to respect and understand each other better.

Well, maybe he's not such a good guy with how he treats other women, but it just seems like he is trying to be good with Shane, his wife. That's what they are there for to learn to treat each other well. She does not seem to be trying. Anyway, they have a baby together. That alone should be enough to try to make it work. Maybe he is not the nicest person in the world but she is not either the way she reacts to him and the world. Just a thought. Who knows what really goes on behind closed doors. What they portray and how they act is the only thing that we can go on. Maybe we should all just turn off the TV and go horseback riding. lol.

Whoa.. that's a bit much, don't you think? I don't think it was out of racism or malice.. Too Short and Monica come off as a really quiet and downright mellow couple. I can't speak on JoJo and Tiny, because they obviously have a HUGE issue with Jojo's addiction, but you see throughout the show just how completely resistant he is to even discussing it. Maybe they are just more low-key and private? 000aAnd FYI- Nik is Armenian and Shayne is Latina of Argentinean descent (given her dad is Lorenzo Lamas). I myself am the product of an interracial marriage and would like to emphasize that there are many different shades of color.

Also, congrats to VH1 & Dr. Jenna Berman on the SUPERBLY racist casting and editing. It must have taken hours upon hours to edit out the two couples of color until they were barely a blip on the radar of this show. You're disgusting.

I really can't comprehend Dr. Berman. The fact that she's willing to marginalize the authenticity of her entire career by using Doug & Courtney as a ratings ploy is sickening. Worse, she has placed four other couples in an environment that is NOT conducive to any sort of real growth or therapy. The entirely inappropriate and highly sexualized behavior of Doug & Courtney is SO ridiculous. RIDICULOUS. So, Dr. Berman you make good television...because you're willing to totally throw away the legitimacy of your profession to become famous. And no one on television should ever have a lisp like that.
