Looks like there were a few songs we missed. Listen to celebs sound off on their favorite songs of the90s
Hahaha, nirvana smells like teen spirit was number one.. kurt cobain!
How about Poison or Motley Crue!......I think they may have started in the 80's but they were still big in the 90's! I mean hello, VH1's own Brett Micheals and they can't put his band in the top 90's songs?
Alice in Chains!
Can anyone tell me where the list is of what "they" think are the 100 greatest? I missed the first 2 episods. Thanks
this list is a joke, two words: Don't Speak. No Doubt sold 16 million albums because of that song. It reached number one in at least 6 countries. Also, Aerosmith released "Cryin'", "Crazy", "Amazing", & "Don't Want To Miss A Thing" and none of those made the list, who created this list? No Boys II Men or Janet Jackson? They WERE R&B in the 90s
And where is the number one selling solo artist of all time... the great GARTH BROOKS and the number one karokee song in the world "Friends In Low Places"? It was the only country album that started out on as number one on the pop charts. Give country music some love VH1
A few songs that you missed? That's an understatement. There were a few nice surprises on it (New Radicals, The Cranberries, Presidents of the United States of America) but for the most part this countdown was beyond mixed up. How in the world do you have a 90s countdown without Janet Jackson and Aerosmith? The fact that VH1 put Destiny's Child above Janet Jackson just shows a complete lack of musical competence. The fact that Destiny's Child even made the top half of that countdown shows a lack of taste. If we're going for songs that immediately take you back and scream out 90s...Ace of Base should have been on there as well as Boys II Men. Seal's 'Kiss From a Rose' should have been on there, and one of Brian Adams biggest songs was released in the 90s (Everything I Do (I Do It For You). Personally I would have put Natalie Imbruglia's Torn at least in the 100-90 range...not much staying power but it was one of the biggest pop songs of 1998. Meat Loaf had his huge comeback in the 90s...I'd Do Anything For Love should have been on there. All 4 One? The Verve? Ben Folds Five? The Verve Pipe? Come on people...you should be able to do better than that.
