Watch That Metal Show on Saturday's at 11/10c.
in no particular order TURBO, RAM IT DOWN, SCREAMING FOR VENGANCE, DEFENDERS OF THE FAITH, and BRITISH STEEL
1. Screaming For Vengeance000a2. Point of Entry000a3. Unleashed in the east (in place of Hell Bent For Leather)000a4. Sin After Sin000a5. Defenders of the Faith
screaming for vengeance is the greatest heavy metal album ever recorded.......my fav priest album though is sin after sin....no song is heavier than disdant agressor...let us prey/call for the priest is where speed metal began....robs vocals are just so clear and powerful on that record.000a000a1-screaming for vengeance000a2-sin after sin000a3-british steel000a4-stained class000a5-defenders of the faith000a000asomething intresting about british steel(to me anyways)....it was prob. the biggest priest album...but none of the big songs off the record showcased robs vocal.....the best singer ever....just strong songs.

My rundown of 80s KISS :000aUnmasked - Don, thanks for representing this one. I know it is cheesy, soft, pop rock with some disco flavor, but I absolutely love it too, an awesome guilty pleasure000aElder - actually is as bad as everyone says it was. A few good songs bundled in a mess.000aCreatures - awesome comeback to the hard rocking KISS...actually the first full on heavy metal album they ever did. Probably my fav of the 80s.000aLick it Up - for me, its almost tied with Creatures and pretty similar. VV really brought something to the table. Too bad it didn't last long.000aAnimalize and Assylum - a big step down, but at least these two albums had a frantic, manic glam energy to them that kept them interesting at times.000aCrazy Nights and Hot in the Shade - I've heard a lot of people say that these were the underrated albums. I totally disagree. They were just completely boring, overproduced, typical of the late 80s hair band era. I don't mind glam, but at least make it sleazy, out of control, and over the top. There is a reason that I like Nitro and Faster Pussycat but am completely bored by White Lion.
1. Sin After Sin000a2. Stained Class000a3. Painkiller000a4. British Steel000a5. Sad Wings of Destiny000a(honorable mention: the solo album, Halford - Resurrection)
I don't know whether you saw it or not, but Overkill was actually on That Metal Show years ago.
Why did it sound like Eddie was the only one that knew more than one 80s Kiss Album?? I think Creatures was great, but Crazy Nights was underrated.
Also I would like to see you guys run a 2 hour show.1 hour isn't enough time. And what ever happened to a bands like Confessor,Love/Hate,&Crowbar.
I want to see your guys top favorite&mine,OVERKILL on the show. They are the most underrated band of all time&in Metarie,Louisiana they played at this bar Zepplins thats not around anymore in Fat City& still to this day since 1995 I think it was, should have called in sick at work 1st. of all & 2nd. that's the only time that I heard they came down here.I'm still kicking myself in the ass, because all my friends got to go and still tell me I missed a bad ass concert.
Looking for more TMS fans to join in and contribute to my TMS thread and discussion. Feel free to stop by at000a000ahttp://pennycan.createaforum.com/music/that-metal-show-(season-11)/msg11728/#msg11728000a000aAlso, feel free to grab episode Screencaps if you want them.
Sorry guys but Lick It Up totally destroys Creatures of the Night, take away the title tack and All Hells Breakin Loose and you have some killer tracks full of attitude and of course Vinnie Vincent shredding the guitar. Just my opinion but Lick It Up was a far heavier record than Creatures.
I love those photos of Jennifer which they showed before Bobby Blotzer came. She looks very foxy and strong in the "metal sense." Unlike the way she's portraying herself as in this show, which she come out as a "dumb blonde." And that dumb music they play whenever she appears in the show. In a way, it's degrading to her as an individual and as a woman.

you know, i actually gained some respect for steve riley. he could've easily bashed tracii back, but he didn't. 000aand frankly, tracii basically admitted that if he took steve to court, then he would have lost the battle.
I just listened to Steve Riley and Phil Lewis, and I don't know the gory details, but I have met Tracii Guns (spent a day with him) and he is a class act, greatly appreciates his fans, and loves what he is doing. It shows in his performances. I will definitely see Tracii each time he comes around.
AMEN!
