I'm actually shocked! David Draiman really seems to be a humble genuine guy., not at all the ego freak I imagined. Love your music man!
bass riffs: 1) No More Tears-Ozzy Osbourne 2) Peace Sells-Megadeth 3) The Trooper-Iron Maiden 4) NIB-Black Sabbath 5) Heaven and Hell Black Sabbath
I will pick "Dream Evil" as my favorite Dio's album but between "Holy Diver" and "The Last In Line," I will have to pick "Holy Diver." Although I think "The Last in Line" is underrated album.
MOTLEY CRUE "Primal Scream" awesome bass riff!!
Best bass intro has to be "Domination" by Symphony X!!
a lot of great bass riffs to choose from, one of my favorites is Quiet Riot's Metal Health
i agree with mike portnoy...iron maiden "wrathchild" is the best bass intro of all time!!
For anyone who wanted to know the answer to the write in question about The Trooper;000a000aWritten by bassist and founder-member Steve Harris, the song is based on the Charge of the Light Brigade at the Battle of Balaclava 1854, which took place during the Crimean War and inspired by Lord Tennyson's poem of the same name.
Agreed! I feel on most songs the bass fades into the background but not with Sabbath! Their bass is like a 2nd guitar.
