Stryper were Christian in order to get PAID? What kind of drugs have you been slamming into your veins, exactly? In 1983, when they started, it was on the heels of Venom - Welcome to Hell, Black Metal, and At War With Satan, Mötley Crüe - Shout at the Devil... Bathory's first tracks were released on the Scandinavian Attack compilation that year. If anything, Stryper suffered due to their Christianity. If they'd changed their lyrics from God to Satan, they'd have been bigger than Priest or Maiden. Because Michael's voice, quite frankly, is better than Halford or Dickinson. And it's held up better. To say nothing of their amazing guitar work. But, in a way, they'll never truly be considered along side those bands because they're thought of as the Christian novelty act.

I have notice a bit of one sided in sight on music when I watch the show, I partially agree with Eric Anderton so many great songs about the devil were over looked like D.A.D, The Cult, Helloween, Malmsteen, Dio,Testament,Death Angel, Celtic Frost and many more Iconic bands and songs. But even with the classic rock side being covered by Eddie, Don and Jim you guys missed the Stones and there Devil song was long before Sabbath and Priest and then you can't even go current enough to cover an entire era of music Manson, Lamb of God ,Disturbed it's so one sided of a talk say classic metal Show with up dates of where they are now. Now Let's talk Stryper the fake Christian Metal Band to get in the music scene to get paid!!!! There are many articles admitting to this over the years, yes good musician's and some great music but they are a farce. Besides the Negative R.I.P Jani Lane he has been a blessing in disguise for the music world cuz Warrant started at a bad time in music, the time for a change as Nikki Sixx said in an interview in 1989 then in 91 the seattle turn over started but he still made a dent in the music world.And Taime the Cat House is a blast man,Faster Pussycat was another under rated band that came out in a hard time in music. Keep Rockin' Man and Dont change that song it is one of my favorite records..

Black Sabbath black Sabbath is a good song and might sound like the devil but they said songs about the devil they put it at number 1 and the people post on here are dumb ass copy cats what is wrong can't think of song about the the devil hey all help 1.D.A.D-rim of hell 2.The Cult- lil' devil 3.Judas Priest- devil's child 4.Van Halen-runnin' with the devil the last one the guys on that metal didn't even consider and is stupid not to 5.Motley Crue-shout at the devil if some one else thinks a sabbath song is about the devil and puts it on there list know that u are in fact stupid
