Tony Martin era of Sabbath after Dio and Gillan was diluted? Are you kidding me? Criminally, criminally, criminally underrated. Headless Cross, Eternal Idol, TYR, and Cross Purposes smoke Born Again, which was decent but not great (although Disturbing the Priest is awesome). Just because Sabbath wasn't commercially successful at that time does not mean they were worse. Headless Cross and Cross Purposes alone are two of Sabbath's best.
Take out Ace of Spades because to me that can be brought in from the Metallica stuff. Motorhead and Metallica are similar, not the same but similar. I would instead put in Slipknot Vol 3. for the fact that it's got a few soft songs, Circle, Vermillion part 2, it gives someone who's not immersed in metal to hear that it's not all about death and destruction. I think that it also provides an outlet for the new bands which aren't represented on that list.
