Those who knock this video don't see the whole picture here. The Cheerleaders are wearing uniforms from Carson High School in Nevada. Toni is wearing her sig Las Vegas High uniform. It's all nostalgia here. "Kitty" was the original tune by a male band before Basil got hold of this and made it the icon Cheerleading song. And the one 2nd from the left failed to wear underwear in the video.
I still think Toni Basil looked like a scary clown in this video. And I still think those other cheerleaders were fat and ugly...
This is the ultimate High School Cheer anthem. And I'm sure its what inspired Avril Lavigne's song GIRLFRIEND and vid. Catchy tune that no one can mistake for any other song.
