Come on Fif, a Yankee fiited in church? Also the white chick telling him his family was connect to rich slave owner was priceless. Like that's something he should be proud of. He looked like he wanted to smack the chick. hahaha!000a
was this done post 50 getting his arm tats laser'd?
he said it ... but in reference to his peeps being slaves on the property.
Did that man just say "it makes my skin crawl" in referencing to Curtis' relative maybe living in the Donovan House?
at 28;00min. you'll see KKK above 50's right shoulder
MULATTO MEANS MIXED W/ WHITE BLOOD
I enjoy watching 50 cents tracing his roots it must give him a good feeling to know that he walks on the same ground his ancestors have walked on. I sometimes wonder what our ancestors would have to say about the issues that we now face today. It seems that they had it hard but in some ways we are still struggling with issues that affect out daily lives. Racism is not as noticable as it once was but it still peeks it head out from time to time. Once you found out where and who you come from it will give us all a better understanding in life!
I am glad that they have come a long way with race issues in that community today, and now how that community is completely different with the young generation of today. Music specifically Hip Hop, is really the cause for the young people now adapting to each other without the issue of race being a factor... unfortunately it is not the young whites community in POWER. Am I wrong to think that way and know that to be true, because it is.... I do not feel that we should forget that till there is no trace of rasicism in this country ever at all .... We should fight till we beat that nasty vile mentality and system out of here for good all of it. All members of our Universal community should fight for equality in this country, and against perverse mentality towards human beings all around the world. Black, White, Yellow, Red, Brown all of US.
It's very pleasing that 50 Cent did this. I hope he will be keeping in touch with these folks, and I hope he will be doing more research into his family history.
I respect the way 50 conducted himself with that old lady. He was holding himself from laughing in her face b/c of her false truths. It takes a lot of self-restraint to be able to stand there and listen to the lady spew her slanted beliefs.
his eye twitching at 4:14
weirdest church service ever
Really enjoyed watching, reminds me of the genealogy show "Who Do You Think You Are", love it. I wish they could have developed the lives of the grandparents more, but maybe there is not enough of an archive? Could have done without "the lesson" on the stars and bars, those old people just can't get over that the rebs lost, oh well. I wish more AA persons would do genealogy, maybe some day I will be able to find out why my dad's g-grandmother's family was listed as "mulatto" in the 1820 census - someone may be able to share more detail and help solve the mystery - going to the state, W VA, may be what I'll have to do. Thank you for sharing that journey!
Just to dispel the perpetuated ignorance of the elderly lady at the founder of the red shirts plantation. it is NOT Mongolian, it is ANGOLAN. some slaves were transported from N. Angola Africa.
Im in turks and caico islands and can't view the video
