It is an elimination show in a way - they're eliminating issues that have been holding them back and keep them from finding love. I just watched the first episode of the second season, and the other ones haven't aired yet, so I found that season one is posted on here (!) and it will tide me over until the other episodes are posted. It's a good show so far, so you might want to give it a chance :)
