I am not even sure if there are the right words for me to describe just how incredible this song and video are.. the combination of the rockin' memphis sound and Will's powerful voice and soul stirring lyrics tell the story in a way that goes straight to the heart strings.the whole new album "Number Seven " is such an amazing out pouring of Will's soul. every song an instant hit and many are thought provoking to the interested and willing listener,. each is a musical masterpiece...Will's live shows are an event like to no other, guaranteed to make you want more. many many thanks to Vh 1 for adding this video to the lineup so that others may experience what so many of us already know to be musical greatness.

I've been a fan of Will's since singing together about stupid stuff in high school. This new song of his is quickly becoming my new favorite. Actually, the whole album "7" is climbing its way up my playlist. It is all well written and his vocals and style add to them. Well, worth the purchase. I've also just bought tix to his Dallas show.
I have been a fan of Will's for over 8 years now. I am so happy to see that he is finally getting the recognition that he has always deserved. I have yet to find a song of his that I do not like and he puts on one amazing show!
From the first time I heard this song, it grabbed my heart and hasn't let go. I lost my dad 3 years ago, and it's been heartbreaking to help my mom keep on living and finding meaning after losing the love of her life (in their case, 53 years.) This song PERFECTLY captures all the emotions, and I find myself crying every time I listen to it (probably well over 100 listens by now.) But the visualization of them reuniting when Mamma "gets her wings" also brings comfort as well... and the whole family when we all "get our wings." Back to the music...Will Hoge is a musical genius, and an astute observer/participant in LIFE - then parlaying life into amazing lyrics and melodies and emotions we can all relate to. Seeing him perform this song live (or ANY of his music for that matter) is an absolute treat, one that I'd highly recommend for anyone lucky enough to be near a venue when he's performing. In addition to being an enormous talent, Will is one of the nicest, most down-to-earth people you'd ever want to meet. And FUNNY!!! And truly appreciative of his fans. The new album is a masterpiece! I'm thrilled that he's getting more and more recognition lately. Couldn't happen to a more deserving guy!
I've wanted to see Will gain acceptance for the longest time but his song and the new album don't seem to say anything new. I'm not a fan of this song or the bulk of the new album. The music is starting to sound the same on every record. I was hoping for more. I'm disappointed.
This is one of my favorite songs by Will - it captures so many emotions and takes me from tears to jubilation. Will Hoge is a true diamond in the rough and his talents outshine anything you hear on Top 40 radio today.
