Chrissy LampkinCast Member
As an original member of the New York cast of "Love & Hip Hop," Harlem's own Christine "Chrissy" Lampkin was an integral part of starting the series we know today. Since her departure from the show on Season 2, Chrissy appeared on several others, but she didn't develop her personality and quick wit in front of the camera.
Separated from her parents at an early age, Chrissy developed a keen sense of self-preservation. The half-Cuban, half-African-American New Yorker caught the attention of fellow Harlemite and rapper Jim Jones, and they've been inseparable ever since. When Chrissy started on "Love & Hip Hop," she was best known as Jim's girlfriend. Today, she has almost as many Instagram followers as he does.
The couple is still together and in love, but they live in different cities and still have not tied the knot. Chrissy isn't sitting around waiting for Jim; she's focused on her Lady Millionaires Club, an all-women investment group that flips houses and manages three properties in Philadelphia.
After many years living in Miami to "focus on herself," Chrissy comes home to New York City to check up on her man (who is facing legal troubles), fix their New Jersey home (which Jim is running like a frat house) and ultimately tend to some unfinished business.
Yandy Smith-HarrisCast Member
Manager, author and entrepreneur Yandy Smith-Harris is a multi-hyphenate mogul. The longest tenured female cast member on "Love & Hip Hop," she is one of the show's most successful stars. Yandy spent the last 10 years building her empire -- launching her Yelle skin-care line, heading media brand Everything Girls Love and even taking on the role of hip-hop activist.
Now a successful entrepreneur and mother of three, Yandy is not the same struggling music manager from Season 1 who worked for Jim Jones. Her brand is class, honesty and grace under pressure, but one person challenges that perception: Chrissy Lampkin, who hasn't seen Yandy in eight years and is back in NYC, tighter than ever with all Yandy's friends. The two will have to come face-to-face.
This year, Yandy's husband Mendeecees is coming home. After serving five years in jail, the family has to make up for a lot of lost time.
Remy MaCast Member
Straight out of the birthplace of hip hop -- the Bronx, NY -- Reminisce Smith a.k.a. Remy Ma is one of the genre's most respected MCs. As the only solo member of Big Pun's Terror Squad, Remy Ma has earned her "Queen of Rap" crown with her 2006 solo debut "There's Something About Remy." Her career was derailed after a shooting incident in 2008 led to an arrest and conviction that sent her to prison for 10 years. On her release in 2016, Remy joined the cast of "Love & Hip Hop" ready to win and turn out tracks with her mentor Fat Joe and other hip-hop royalty.
Remy and her supportive husband Papoose allowed cameras to document her rise back to the top where she triumphed. The couple remarried with a beautiful ceremony and shared their in vitro process with their fans, who watched and celebrated. After the "golden child" was born, life for Remy and Pap played out like a fairy tale. Now off parole, the duo celebrates Remy's real freedom, and things are busier than ever.
For the first time in years, Remy is able to cross state lines without permission. She hasn't been able to tour overseas in nearly a decade, and being off parole allows Remy to travel internationally and get back to work. In fact, Remy has a list of things she wants to do now that she's off parole, and she's crossing them off that list every day. Will this newfound freedom land her in trouble again? As she struggles to balance motherhood with finishing her album, while co-hosting "State of the Culture" with Joe Budden, will Remy finally get to enjoy her life after lockup?
Erica MenaCast Member
"Love & Hip Hop" veteran Erica Mena is known for her fiery Latina personality and tumultuous on-again, off-again relationships. Sharing her love life in front of the camera has made for some of the franchise's most memorable moments -- from crying over Rich Dollaz to a bad breakup with Cyn Santana. Erica also broke off an engagement to her former fiancé Bow Wow and made it through a traumatic relationship with the late Cliff Dixon.
Last year, she hooked up with Safaree Samuels, and the two quickly got engaged. The couple, now expecting their first baby together, are moving forward with their New York nuptials. As they search for the perfect venue in NYC for their wedding, Safaree and Erica must face their old friends who still have issues with Safaree secretly sneaking her on the cast's trip to Costa Rica last year.
Kim "Kimbella" VanderheeCast Member
Kim "Kimbella" Vanderhee
Kimbella, who recently gave birth to baby number four, holds it down for her family now that her man Juelz Santana is behind bars, working with his brother to release Juelz's next project.
Kimbella isn't only missing the help of her man, she does it all without the support of her old best friend. Yandy and Kimbella's friendship went sour last season after Kimbella made comments about Yandy, painting the adoption of her daughter Infinity as a publicity stunt. Over the years, the former friends have had their issues, but Yandy believes attacking her character as a parent was the last straw. Is this truly the end of their friendship? With no one to turn to for support, Kimbella must rebuild her squad.
Cyn SantanaCast Member
A New Yorker through and through, Cyn Santana made a big splash with her quick wit and fiery personality when she debuted on Season 3 of "Love & Hip Hop" as the girlfriend of Erica Mena. Tapping into Cyn's bisexuality was fun and experimental on television and a first for the franchise. Since Erica and Cyn broke up, they have kept their distance from each other.
Cyn and rapper Joe Budden met in 2016, moved in together, had their baby boy Lexington and returned to "Love & Hip Hop" for Season 9. After showcasing their happy relationship all season, Cyn and Joe got engaged after a beautiful proposal. In the off-season, though, they suddenly broke up, and the reasons have everyone scratching their heads.
Now, as Cyn tries to pick up the pieces, she'll learn what life is like as a single mom filing for child support and full custody of her children.
Having recently completed her own EP, Cyn is ready to showcase her career in the music business while not letting her personal drama distract her.
Jim JonesCast Member
Even though Jim seems to be filming more workouts than music videos, he still stays connected to the sound of New York and has his ear to the street when it comes to hip hop. Jim's current album "El Capo" is being touted as one of the best rap albums of 2019.
Jim's long-time girlfriend Chrissy Lampkin has returned home to New York City to check on her man, fix their New Jersey home (which Jim is running like a frat house) and ultimately tend to some unfinished business. The couple is still together and in love, but they have been living in separate cities and have still not tied the knot.
Joe BuddenCast Member
The always outspoken Joe Budden returns to the "Love & Hip Hop" family as the brutally honest voice of the community. Joe's wildly successful brand includes the ongoing "Joe Budden Podcast" and his "State of the Culture" talk show. Season 10 tracks Joe's efforts to navigate the everyday struggles of family life while capitalizing on the momentum of his career.
On Season 9, Joe reinvented himself as a family man, delighting millions on social media with glimpses into his home life alongside girlfriend Cyn Santana. Joe and Cyn met in 2016, moved in together and had their baby boy Lexington. The couple's relationship played out on social media, and nothing about their lives is off-limits, including news of their split during the off-season.
After ending Season 9 with a proposal, Joe and Cyn enter Season 10 as an estranged couple that hasn't spoken for months and has called off their wedding. Joe and Cyn must now figure out how they are going to co-parent their son.
Safaree Samuels shot to fame as the ex-boyfriend of Nicki Minaj, but the rapper/producer/songwriter and "Love & Hip Hop" mainstay emerged as a star in his own right thanks to his hilarious persona, Caribbean flair and a few leaked photos.
After some failed flings, Safaree hooked up with Erica Mena last year, and the two quickly got engaged. During the taping of the final episode of Season 9, the cast learned Safaree had secretly snuck Erica on their trip to Costa Rica, and all hell broke loose. Safaree's friendships with the New York crew were pretty much null and void after the trip, and it all came to a head at the Season 9 reunion, at which Rich Dollaz and Safaree almost came to blows.
Back in New York and reunited with his old crowd, Safaree will have to find a way to reconcile with past friends while keeping his new bride happy.
Tahiry JoseCast Member
Voluptuous urban model and New York City native Tahiry Jose came to fame during the course of her public relationship with rapper Joe Budden. Born to Dominican parents in Harlem, NY, Tahiry is a model, actress and entrepreneur who holds a degree from the John Jay College of Criminal Justice. Tahiry's cover for King is one of the highest-selling editions of the magazine, and she has also graced the pages of many others, including Complex, XXL and Vibe.
Tahiry is now working on a fitness DVD and focusing on acting lessons. She is also a correspondent for XXL and is a staple at most red-carpet events. Returning to "Love & Hip Hop," Tahiry has recently connected with Erica Mena, who is dead set on reconnecting Tahiry with ex Joe.
Brooklyn-born and-raised, Papoose represents the grind and hustle of real New York hip hop. Already renowned for his mixtapes, Papoose reached a wider audience with the release of his debut full-length album "The Nacirema Dream" in 2013.
Beyond his music, Papoose's relationship with Remy Ma, who he married in 2008 before her sentencing, has inspired a passionate following of its own. As a father of three and a constant supporter of black love, Papoose is an outspoken advocate for positive depictions of African-American relationships and families.
On Season 10, with Remy off parole and back in the studio, Papoose is on full-time daddy duty. He must work to balance his new music and career with his role as caretaker.
Rich DollazCast Member
The CEO and founder of Dollaz Unlimited, Rich Dollaz started out as an ambitious intern who rapidly climbed the ranks to become one of the most sought-after promoters and managers in the hip-hop game.
After eight seasons of fast moves and his signature Creep Squad hijinks, Season 9 offered a different glimpse of the "Love & Hip Hop" veteran. Rich faced tragedy and crisis when serious criminal charges were brought against Miracle, the mother of his 19-year-old daughter Ashley. On top of that tragedy, Rich's friendship with Safaree suffered after Rich discovered Safaree's relationship with Erica Mena. On Season 10, Rich will have to find a new way to navigate the complicated relationship with his ex Erica and her fiancé, his former friend Safaree.
Jonathan FernandezCast Member
One of the music industry's most sought-after makeup artists, Jonathan Fernandez has been perfecting his craft since he was 16 years old. With his fiery charisma and outrageous sense of humor, Jonathan is usually the glue of his social circle, although his flair for drama often makes waves.
On Season 9, Jonathan was on a mission to step out from the shadows of his famous female friends and carve out his own identity, but first he had to make peace with his difficult past and self-destructive tendencies.
Jonathan has been by his friend Cyn Santana's side after she parted ways with Joe Budden. Meanwhile, as Yandy's BFF, Jonathan's relationship with Chrissy Lampkin could prove to be challenging.

But will the criminal justice system ruin the couple's dream of a happily ever after?
